Advantages: Good value, kind to sensitive skin, really works.

Disadvantages: None!

I think I am such a fan of Nivea because my mum used it when I was growing up. I have sensitive skin and it's one of the only moisturisers that I have been able to use without getting a nasty reaction. Usually, Nivea Visage Anti Wrinkle Q10 plus day cream will cost you up to £10 for a 50ml pot. However, just today (12.6.09) I picked a pot up in Tesco for just £5.00, a saving of £4.97 on the usual price. Needless to say I was pretty pleased with my purchase!

I have been using this cream for as long as I can remember. They changed the formulation a year or so ago, and the scent. At first I didn't like the new scent....fragrances make me nervous! But I'm used to it now and haven't had any type of reaction.

The cream is packaged in a really nice ceramic pot, which can be recycled. The cream is white in colour and has a really good texture, neither too heavy or too light. It absorbs quicky and doesn't leave a greasy feel on the skin. Skin feels really fresh and moisturised. It contains an SPF of 15 so your skin is nicely protected from the sun.

And then, of course, there is the important bit....does it live up to its anti-wrinkle claims?? I for one have to say yes it does. It claims to actively defend against new wrinkles and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines already on the skin. I am 38 and not wishing to blow my own trumpet, I don't have too many wrinkles at all, I am really happy with my skin.

This cream actually now contains 100% more of the active ingredient, co-enzyme Q10 than it used to, so is even better at keeping wrinkles at bay. The science behind it is that Q10 supports the skins energy metabolism from within to continually fight wrinkles. It claims to visibly reduce fine lines within hours, minimise expression lines within 3 weeks and deeper wrinkles in 4 weeks.

This cream works. I think it is a real beauty steal even at it's full price.

Summary: I'd put money on you buying it and loving the results.
