Advantages: Easy to use, Fulfil their promises
Disadvantages: Don't forget to re-seal
*Introduction*
Generally I am not a big fan of wipes as in the past I have found they don't work all that well. My mum gave me a packet of Nivea Visage Refreshing Facial Cleansing Wipes having bought them on a two for one offer and because I was useless at removing my make-up before I go to bed. I like Nivea as a brand so I thought I would give them a chance.
*The Claim*
To cleanse, tone and invigorate in one easy step and to remove make-up and waterproof mascara for a fresh skin feeling.
*About the Product*
These wipes are alcohol free and contain Lotus extract and vitamins. By using these wipes, your skin gets the effective moisturisation needed for normal or combination skin. They cleanse your face, eye area and neck, leaving them removed from dirt and make-up. The wipe leaves your skin feeling fresh and revitalised.
In the packet are 25 6 square inch wipes. I tend to buy a pack in advance now so that I never run out because on the occasion that I did, my skin felt awful.
*Application*
You remove a wipe from the bag and softly clean your face and neck. I pay particular attention to my eyes as the mascara I use can be a bit of a nightmare to remove. Fortunately, in these wipes I have finally found something that gets rid of it at the end of the day. They are extremely easy to use and you don't need to rub the wipes too firmly in order to see results.
*Price and Availability*
Nivea Visage Refreshing Facial Cleansing Wipes sold at £3.29 and are available from stores such as Tesco, Boots, Superdrug and Asda. These are fairly expensive but when bought on offer seem well priced and I find that they are so frequently on offer that I rarely pay the full price for them. They are rarely sold out, so you don't need to worry about where you will get your next bag.
*My Opinion*
The Packaging: The wipes are in a sky blue coloured plastic packet. On the front of this is a small tab that is pulled back in order for you to take out a wipe and reseal. They are very easy to remove from the bag and found that the packaging was more than adequate.
The Smell: They do not have a strong scent but leave your skin with a fresh, clean smell. They actually smell like the wipes that children use when they've got grubby hands.
The feel: The wipe is a soft fleece and is significantly thicker and better quality than most I have used previously. They are very soft and smooth to use.
From the point of view of someone who uses a fair bit of make-up, they really do work effectively. They clean your face from dirt and the trickiest of make-up to remove. Due to the fact that they are so straightforward to use, I would recommend them to even the laziest of people (like me). They will soon become part of your everyday routine, trust me. I now don't have the problems that I have had in the past with spots so I can honestly say I love this product.
For me the only slight disadvantage is that if you do not reseal the tab properly, the wipes dry out quite quickly. This is however stated on the bag so hopefully you shouldn't make that mistake.
Also, I suggest that you make sure that you do not flush these down the toilet and throw them in the bin instead as they can block up the toilet if you flush too many.
*Would I Recommend This Product?*
I would unquestionably suggest these wipes to any of my friends as they fulfil their promises on the packet. They are by far the best of their type that I have come across to date.
*Overall*
These wipes are now part of my daily facial care routine and I rarely go to bed without having used them. They are especially practical to take on holiday or whilst not at home as you don't have to worry about bottles leaking on your other belongings.
Summary: Wipes that work!
