Advantages: Even colour. Pleasant scent. Smooth. Somewhere between a moisturiser and foundation.

Disadvantages: Still needs concealer for blemishes. Might need reapplication during the day. A little dry.

Having tried all sorts of tinted moisturisers over the years I always go back to this one by Nivea. As a child it was Nivea 'Quickies' that were the staple of all car journeys. Nivea proves that the price of skin care does not always reflect the quality. Good old Nivea - this tinted moisturiser is inexpensive, lasts well and is by far the best I have used. (I also tried the Olay version which has a similar price, but find it too runny, not as natural in its colour and a bit oily.)

I have normal skin with no problem areas and feel that this product is ideally suited to me. Perhaps if my skin were dry or greasy it would not work quite so well.

Very ocassionally I will use a foundation but I don't like the more heavy coverage - maybe its me, but I can never get foundation to look natural and I don't really like to see it on other people either. So, this Nivea product suits me well.

The colour is good and even. The scent is pleasant and it feels good on the skin - not in any way heavy, false or greasy. It leaves a natural finish.

Although its marketed as a tinted moisturiser I think it falls somewhere between moisturiser and foundation.

A single tube lasts me some weeks and doesn't deteriorate. The design of the tube top keeps it clean of gunk.

What you want from a tinted moisturiser is moist non-obvious cover and this one works for me. It goes on easily and smoothly. I use it daily and instead of foundation.

Foundation products don't seem to give a natural look particularly as skin gets older, but this Nivea Moisturiser does. For dryer skins I am not sure it would work quite so well as it is a little dry.

You can buy it in all the usual stores like Boots, and in many supermarkets too.

Summary: My favourite tinted moisturiers, but by no means the most expensive.

I'm not that impressed by it. It dries far too quickly - even before you get a chance to rub it in, so I have to drag it across my face. Lexy
