*~Nivea Visage Young - Control It Moisturiser~*
*~Moisturise Your Young Skin~*

~Background~

Nivea is owned by a German company called Beiersdorf, it began in 1911 when it first made an emulsifier as a skin cream. Nivea Visage Young was developed for teenagers and younger Nivea users. It contains ingredients that help fight typical teenage skin problems such as spots. Even though it is aimed at the younger generation it is still widely used by older customers, with a large range of moisturisers, cleansers and exfoliates not just young people are interested.

~Price~

It is quite easy to find the Nivea Visage Young range, you will find it in most cosmetic stores. I bought mine from super drug (www.superdrug.com) for £4.75 for a 75ml tube, most stores sell for around the same price but I always find super drug to be the cheapest even if it is only by pennies.

~Packaging~

Like most of the Nivea Visage Products the moisturiser packaging is blue. Most are boxed, I personally believe this is pretty pointless as the box gets thrown away anyway and its easy enough just to tag the actual tube. The box and the tube are designed in the same way. The box is blue and the tube is transparent showing the blue cream inside. They both have the Nivea Visage logo with ‘Young’ written in blue underneath and ‘control it moisturiser’ written in blue, smaller letters.

The blue colouring is quite attractive and blue seems to be associated with cleanliness and seems refreshing so it definitely suits the product. The font used on the packaging is quite ‘cool’, it’s modern and even though it’s rather plain it does advertise to its targeted audience.

~Product~

It’s best used on a regular basis, each morning and night as suggested. As with all moisturisers it takes a while to show any effect. After 2 or 3 days of use your skin does feel more oil balanced. The oily parts start becoming more ‘normal’ and the dry parts begin moistening. It absorbs fast once applied and makes your skin feel very refreshed and smooth as soon as it’s put on. It really does work!

I’ve recently bought another one from Tescos, its similar but just a bit cheaper and works just as well so even though it works very well there are cheaper ones out there which are just as good.

~Ingredients~

It is oil free and contains oil absorbing mattispheres to remove skin shininess where needed, Nivea’s Active Shine Regulator to control the formation of new shine and pure ocean minerals to keep the skin feeling refreshed and smooth.

I used this a few times but I really didn't like it. Everything from the smell to the way it left my skin was just wrong!
