I don't wear eye makeup very often but on the occasions that I do I need something to remove the eyeliner, waterproof mascara and eye shadow. On a recent visit to Boots I received one of there £5 off No.7 product vouchers and spotted this at £6.90 for a 100ml bottle (therefore costing me only £1.90 - Bargain!) The bottle itself is semi-transparent with turqoise/blue coloured liquid inside it. This is useful as it indicates how much of the cleanser is left and when I should be thinking about getting a new bottle. To get the liquid out there is a pump at the top of the bottle which is covered by a lid when it is not in use. The bottle is recyclable and the ... Read the complete review

I wear eye makeup every day - green/brown eyeliner, brown eyeshadow and black waterproof mascara - so I really need an effective eye makeup remover. Having tried lots of different brands, the most important things for me are that it isn't too oily (as sometimes I like to take my makeup off and redo if I'm going out at night), and that it doesn't sting my eyes, and of course that it's effective. This product comes in a 150ml bottle which costs £7.50. However Boots often have promotions on the No 7 range so I usually pick this up for less. It's in a see-through, slightly translucent plastic bottle with a separate cap and a pump-action dispenser. The liquid ... Read the complete review

Removing make -up is essential, no one should leave their face clogged up overnight, apart from making a mess on the pillowcase and looking a sight in the morning it really isn't good for your skin. I usually use Boots No 7 products and although it will remove eye shadow it doesn't do anything for mascara. I tried new mascara recently - but that is another review as will be the eye liner, it was a brilliant turquoise colour, a gift in a bag of goodies, and both stayed on all day. I decided to try my new eye make-up remover last night, which was another item in the big box of products I received at Christmas. I pulled off the top to reveal a push button ... I first discovered this No7 eye make-up remover when it was being given away free in one of it's bags (you receive several small sample size items all wrapped up in tissue in a lovely little make-up bag ) if you spend over a certain amount of money. Now when it comes to things that go near my eyes I'm always very careful as to what I will use and in the past I have tried several different eye make-up removers. They never seemed to do the job very good and always left some mascara still on the lashes, as well as making my eyes very sore. I started to just use wipes which did do a good job, but when using waterproof as I am at the moment ( due to hayfever ... Read the complete review

To buy this from Boots, (and only Boots) will cost you £6.90 at present (mid Feb 2009). And its not a bad little make-up remover. It comes as a blue liquid in a white/transparent/matte cylinder container, and you will get 100mls for that price. The product inside is a blue liquid, not an oil/with no separation like you may find on some of the other brands. It contains various glycerins, aqua, panthenol...all sorts of long winded names, none of which will make any sense to me so I wont pretend to you I care and illustrate them with vague descriptions! The ingredients are on the bottom of the bottles if you do need to know this, though I can say they are ... Read the complete review
