Advantages: Good texture, great price.

Disadvantages: Slightly unpleasant smell.

Having used a number of the Protect and Perfect range from Boots, I recently bought a large No. 7 Gift Set containing a wide range of skin care products - bought as part of a 3 for 2 offer this worked out at about £2 per item, so was a real bargain! In light of the financial climate, a more realistically priced skin care regime was looming.

The night cream is for normal to dry skin and promises to nourish and replenish while you sleep. It is hypo-allergenic and the tub holds 50ml of product. The cream itself is fairly thick, pink coloured with a slightly clinical smell. On application, I have found that it feels a bit heavy and takes a while to sink in. I have sensitive skin and find it a little too gloopy.

In the morning, my skin feels refreshed but I can't say that I have noticed any difference in fine lines, however, it doesn't make any claims in this respect.

This is a pleasant enough cream for the price and my sensitive skin feels fine whilst using it but it, understandably, doesn't feel as luxurious as more expensive creams but then it doesn't have that sort of price tag. Does what it says on the tin!

Summary: Decent night cream for the price.
