Advantages: Easily absorbed, very effective

Disadvantages: None

I used to buy a pot of Boots' natural collection moisturiser for about £2. This would last me ages, mainly because I used to just put it on certain dry areas of my face. They discontinued this particular product so I had to look around for something to replace it. I tried a few, keeping it cheap mostly, but they either irritated my skin, or were greasy. Then I had a try of the Oil of Olay (or Ulay as it was then) range. First I bought a cream, in a little glass tub (can't remember the exact name), it smelled nice, and worked - it moisturised - but it was too thick, it wasn't absorbed quickly enough. The assistant in Boots told me it was for older, dryer skins. So then I tried Complete Care Moisturising Fluid. Around this time I also started applying moisturiser all over my face, not just on the driest bits. It's fantastic. Because it's a fluid, not a cream, it's light and really easily absorbed even on parts of my face that aren't dry. It smells nice, not really fragranced but pleasant. I don't need to re-apply during the day (unless I wash!), and it keeps my face feeling smooth and flexible. It is for normal, dry, oily and combination skin (I think that covers them all!) and it's dermatologically tested so might be OK on sensitive skin? It also offers UV protection. My Mum has always used Oil of Ulay; I should have followed her example years ago!
But! it is a bit expensive (considering you can get some moisturisers for £2). I think it's well worth it but it depends on your budget. I spend about £6 on a 100 ml bottle in Boots, because there's usually an offer for extra points or something. You can get it cheaper in Superdrug I think.
