I am a fan of Olay products so when I spotted Olay eye gel in my local Boots it did not take much to persuade me that it would be a worthwhile purchase. So was this a good decision or one of the many I would come to regret? What do you get for your money? ***************************** I paid £6.99 in my local Boots for this product. The 15ml of eye gel comes packaged in a very stylish black and gold box. Open the extensive packaging and inside you will find a small pot made of clear plastic with a black screw top lid. The packaging promises that if you use the gel for any length of time you will experience great benefits such as a reduction in ... Read the complete review

Earlier in the year I reviewed the Garnier Eye Roll on and after finding that a bit useless, I decided that I would continue with my mission to find a product that I actually liked! I initially made a decision to seek out some eye gel as I can look quite puffy around the eyes first thing in the morning (worse at this time of year with all the stinking pollen!). I have also noticed that I am starting to look a bit wrinkly around the eyes - developing lines (I prefer calling them lines to wrinkles) and small crow's feet around the corners of my eyes. I decided that I would try and nip this in the bud before it got too ... Read the complete review

I am a fan of Olay products so thought I would add this one to my ever-increasing array of beauty products to help keep age at bay. I have to say it is not one of my most favourite products from Olay, but neither would I stop using it either. The gel is clear and comes in a small, attractive glass jar with a smart, black screw-on lid. The small size is great for popping in your bag and its wide base means it is not easily spilled. Its classy image makes it appear more expensive and extravagant than it actually is and it retails at around £8.00 on the internet, although I paid slightly more than this from Boots. I have used it for several months now, ... Read the complete review

At 56 years of age I've only recently realised the importance of looking after my face so have been religiously cleansing, toning & moisturising plus using some anti-aging round-the-eye anti-wrinkle cream. All this sounds very time-consuming but for a couple of minutes every morning & night I think I'm pretty pleased with the (slow) results? Unfortunately, last night, I was so tired that I think I overdid it with the eye cream & this morning I had to peer in the mirror to see where my eyes were! My eyelids & under the eyes was really puffy & I looked like something from another planet so I hastily looked for some cucumber to ... Read the complete review

Yes, I'm writing another Olay review - anyone would think I had shares in the company, but no, I just use a lot of their products. Now that I'm in my 30s I find myself trying more and more products in an attempt to preserve the youthful qualities of my skin. I guess it's just a sign of my age and it goes hand in hand with the way I've started to listen to Radio 2 with increasing frequency. Up to now I've always been very satisfied with any Olay product that I've tried. Pardon the plug, but if you were to read my glowing reviews of their moisturiser and night cream you'd see what I meant. However, this eye contour gel just doesn't ... Read the complete review
