Advantages: DOES A THOROUGH JOB OF GENTLY REMOVING MAKEUP AND DAILY GRIME BUILD UP...

Disadvantages: NONE FOR ME - IT'S DESIGNED FOR MY SKIN TYPE.

For an old fashioned soap and water face washing gal like me cleansing is a vital part of my skin care routine, however having hypersensitive skin can be a bind at times when trying to find a product gentle enough to cope with my facial needs.

This is where my favourite brand 'Olay' come in with their super 'Daily Cleansers gentle cleansing milk' which conditions while it cleans...

There are a couple of variations of this product, there is one for normal/combination skin and the one I am reviewing today for sensitive skin, which is advertised as being 'New with Aloe Vera' on a little triangular sticker on the top left hand corner of the 200ml bottle.

Packaged in an opaque recyclable plastic container, simplistically labelled with the iconic Olay emblem and with a black plastic screw-on lid, this liquid is made in Ireland.

Sold direct from Olay on their website www.olay.co.uk, or online also from Amazon for £4.96, I bought my bottle from Boots for £4.88 in a '3 for 2' deal on Olay products a while ago now.

My cleansing milk is 'fragrance free', a must have for people like me who react badly to the harsher chemicals some other - sometimes cheaper brands - can include in their formulas.

Advertised as: 'Specifically designed to thoroughly yet gently cleanse your skin, removing makeup and impurities', for me this quite runny solution does the job it's intended to do very well indeed.
As mentioned earlier, Olay have enriched their cleansing solution with Aloe Vera, a well known plant known for its healing properties; which the manufacturers 'Procter & Gamble' have included in their ingredients to replenish natural moisture loss, whilst simultaneously soothing the skin.

Dermatologically tested - a factor I always search for when buying an item of this type - and pH neutral, it ticked all the essential skin care boxes for me, folks.

Containing several derivatives of Glycerin in the ingredients list as well, in addition to Lanolin Oil, therefore even though the container states fragrance free it does smell quite oily in aroma.

Pledging to leave one's skin looking and feeling 'clean, soft and smooth', the simple instructions suggest using twice a day - morning and evening - by massaging over the face and neck by hand, and then removing with a dry or damp cotton wool ball.
Personally I prefer to apply with dry a cotton wool ball after immediately washing and drying my face, removing with another clean, soft ball.

There is no rocket science about cleansing the skin, but in my opinion it is an essential part of my beauty routine.

Cleansing milks and lotions are specifically formulated to remove makeup efficiently plus built up grime from throughout the day; in this one's case it capably removes waterproof mascara too without any trouble...

One of the regular benefits of using a mild milk such as this is that it can prevent unsightly blackheads and blocked pores - whilst leaving the epidermis feeling cooled and refreshed. Rather than any natural oils being harshly stripped, Olay hydrates and moisturises immediately - ready for the next step for me in my facial beauty regime - toning.

Lasting for up to 6 months per bottle, this is an economical product I can happily endorse for those of you, like me, who have delicate skin that reacts quickly to any heavy perfumes added.

I generally keep any little travel pots once emptied, and after washing fill with this cleanser - perfect for my travelling needs without having to carry the big bottle everywhere.

Awarding 5 super-clean Stars for a lotion that does what it professes to via the marketing blurb - who can really ask for more than that with a creamy creation such as this cleanser?

Summary: EXCELLENT CLEANSER FOR A VERY REASONABLE PRICE GIVEN HOW LONG IT LASTS.
