After having read many, many, many reviews on the benefits of very expensive face creams such as Crème de la Mer I had decided to save up the £90 or so necessary to try one of these miracle products which surely would change my life forever. Luckily (well, in this case at least…) saving money isn’t exactly something I’m good at so I still hadn’t managed to get together enough money for this by the time I heard about the Horizon programme where scientists had carried out an independent research experiment into anti-aging products. The result was slightly unexpected as it showed that most of these very expensive creams had very little, or in most cases no ... Read the complete review

I have some empty cream pots now sitting around, so they need immediate review to get rid of them! This cream has left me perplexed because the rest of the reviewers clearly loved it. I am not that keen, and I discovered why: * Packaging and colour: Usually, I am not that bothered, but the plastic lilac pot with the back lid failed to impress me. It's dark, tacky and unattractive. Worse: the cream is also lilac with a strong smell I did not like. In the UK, the pot comes inside a carton box, unlike the photo shown above (see www.olay.co.uk) so it's more environmental friendly by avoiding over-packaging. However, in the US, it comes ... I have had a love affair with olay for many years, since my Mother bought me my first ever product, the classic light pink cream known back then as Oil of Olay. I must have been about 15 and I'm sure because of these products I'm now told I look 23 when I'm really 33! I spend alot of money on beauty products and though I never kid myself that they are all singing and all dancing solutions to looking 18 again I do firmly believe that you have to take care of your skin and therefore I do. This product was new to me a few months back. I purchased kits of Olay products for about £5.00 in which I got a full sized product worth about £22.00 on average and a few ... At the grand old age of 25 I didn't think I would have to worry about lines and wrinkles for quite a few more years to come, but recently I noticed that my foundation seemed to have seeped into what was quite a distinct frown line! Now I was particularly irritated by this as I take meticulous care of my skin, spending a small fortune on skincare products, but I have to confess that recently a tight budget has meant that my night cream was one skincare staple that had been finished a few months ago and not replaced due to financial constrains. Deciding that missing out night cream was no longer an option I did a bit of research into the most highly rated budget night ... Read the complete review

Olay - Love the skin you're in!! A few years ago now, and this was even before I turned 30, I started to think about wrinkles as I was sure I could spot a few more little lines on my face than I'd had the week before. I have always been a big fan of the Olay products as I've used it now for years. My mum used it before me so I think I was just following in her footsteps like most young girls do. Olay was first produced in South Africa. It has been a Procter and Gamble product since 1985 and became one of their Billion dollar brands in 2003. Apparently the name Oil of Olay was chosen by the producer (a chemist called Graham Wulff) because it was ... Read the complete review
