The product is supposed to be self heating when it come into contact with skin and water, I wasn't really expecting there to heat up, so I was amazed just how warm the product got as when it touched your face. It wasn't hot but it was lovely and warm. The product is a lilac colour and smells lovely, although I'm not sure what the actual smell is. The product left me skin feeling lovely and soft, it wasn't quite as effective as using a micro dermabrasion...more

I have tried quite a few Olay products, mainly because they are one of the brands included in the £5 off facial skin care voucer that Boots issue on a regular basis. I actually bought this product after reading a review of it on Dooyoo. Only thing was, I got home and realised the product I had read the review on was 'Olay Regenerist Thermal Skin Polisher' and what I'd actually bought was 'Olay Total Effects Self-Heating Skin Exfoliator.' Oops. Well, never mind, they were from the same brand and sounded like they did the same thing, so I just kept my fingers crossed that this one would be as good as the other one sounded! The scrub comes in a black tube which has a metallic pink and gold bit at the bottom, and a big number seven on the front as apparently this stuff will fight the seven signs of ageing. Olay is ...  Read the complete review
