I have tried quite a few Olay products, mainly because they are one of the brands included in the £5 off facial skin care voucer that Boots issue on a regular basis. I've used a couple of micro dermabrasion products in the past so I was interested to see how this would compare. The product comes in a squeezy tube , which is mainly black and red with white and gold writing, with a black flip top lid. The product is supposed to be self heating when it come into contact with skin and water, I wasn't really expecting there to heat up, so I was amazed just how warm the product got as when it touched your face. When they say self heating they are not joking! Olay is a well known brand who are quite famous for their anti ageing formulas. This is one of those ranges but is recommended for younger skin too for a deep clean. It comes in a squeezable tube in Olays instantly recognisable black, pink and gold. Used lukewarm water to dampen the face and then rub in the exfoliator, and be prepared. It felt like sunburn the first time I used it although this subsidea after about 20 seconds and just feels warm. The more you rub however the more it stays hot! I actually bought this product after reading a review of it on Dooyoo. Only thing was, I got home and realised the product I had read the review on was 'Olay Regenerist Thermal Skin Polisher' and what I'd actually bought was 'Olay Total Effects Self-Heating Skin Exfoliator.' Oops. Well, never mind, they were from the same brand and sounded like they did the same thing, so I just kept my fingers crossed that this one would be as good as the other one sounded! The scrub comes in a black tube which has a metallic pink and gold bit at the bottom, and a big number seven on the front as apparently this stuff will fight the seven signs of ageing. Olay is ...
