Advantages: Moisturises, firms the skin, SPF 15

Disadvantages: A little pricey

I bought this moisturiser when there was a promotion on at our student union, so I managed to get this for the amazing price of £1!

I really liked this moisturiser. I hadn't really tried Olay products before, and I have to say that I did only buy this because of the low price, but I'm really glad I did and will probably buy it for full price after I have finished this bottle.

This is sold at quite a few beauty shops and department stores. I have seen it in Boots and Superdrug for around £15.

The moisturiser is an anti-ageing day moisturiser. It is called 'total effects 7x', as it is supposed to combat the seven signs of ageing. The moisturiser is for your face.

I am still quite young at 23, so I don't really suffer from wrinkles just yet, but after using this I do think that my skin feels smoother and softer. It also feels a bit plumper and firmer to the touch.

The bottle comes in a 50ml size and has a pump lid on it which you push to get the moisturiser out.

The moisturiser itself is orangey/pink in colour (don't worry, it doesn't turn your skin that colour!) and doesn't really smell of much, but it smells pleasant none-the-less and a little flowery. The moisturiser is quite thick, which I really like in a moisturiser.
The moisturiser is really easy to apply. It goes on smoothly and absorbs into the skin quickly. Even though the bottle only comes in a 50ml size, I find that it lasts for a long time since I don't need to use much each time I use it. I find that one pump of moisturiser is more than enough to do my whole face.

This was really gentle on my skin and it didn't irritate or make my skin sore. I sometimes get dry skin after showering or in cold weather and need to apply a moisturiser, and I really felt like this moisturised my skin and I didn't have any dry patches at all after using this.

This has an SPF of 15, which scores some extra points in my book. I think it is quite important to have a moisturiser which protects your skin, as well as moisturising it.

The bottle is a white plastic colour and has the Olay symbol at the top of it and 'Olay' written underneath with 'total effects 7X' written underneath that. I quite like the bottle since it is quite a simple and effective design.

I would recommend this moisturiser, I think it is a bit on the expensive side at £15 for 50ml, but I did find a difference in my skin after using it and I really like how my skin felt. A great product!

Summary: A great moisturiser which makes your skin feels nice
