Advantages: Leaves combination skin feeling comfortable

Disadvantages: Expensive, difficult to find unless you live near a department store

Origins Checks and Balances is one of the very few cleansers designed for combination skin. Suffering with combination skin for my entire adult life, I have previously found it very hard to find a long-term cleanser which works well on both my oily and dry patches, which is where this product comes in.

The cleanser itself is a light, almost fluffy consistancy and you only need a very small amount to work into a good lather. It foams nicely on the skin and washes off easily to leave the skin feeling nicely clean without feeling too dry or not clean enough. It leaves the skin feeling nicely comfortable, although I still like to use an oil free moisturiser afterwards as I find it tends on the drier side rather than the oily.

All in all I'd say that this product is worth trying out of you have combination skin as it is difficult to find something for combination skin and it is worth a go.

Summary: Great for combination skin
