... i know it did pull out hairs but it misses loads so you have to run it over the same spot over and over again to be sure that one spot is hair free. This epilator i chose because it had the most tweezers, heaven knows what the other epilators were like that have a smaller number of tweezers. Now i use this only now and again for the hair on my legs but use it mainly on my bikini line where it takes less time so less time of pain endurance. The epilator does come with an ice pack that you put in the freezer then a...more

Philips Satinelle Ice epilator Comes with: Storage Pouch Cleaning brush Exfoliating Body puff Ice pack 2 Speeds Massaging System This is the first epilator that I have used, having just shaved in the past. However, as my mum brought one I thought that I would give it a go to see what epilating is really like. So far I have epilated the hairs on my legs and my underarms. So, here goes... - - What does it look like? - - This epilator is a nice "cool blue" colour. It is smaller than I expected (fits nicely into your hand). You can attach an ice pack ...  Read the complete review

Picture the scene... ...You are preparing yourself for a quiet night in with some chocolate and your favourite movie, when there is an unexpected knock at your door. To your surprise, you find that its the man of your dreams (use your imagination here - it could be Brad Pitt, George Clooney or even that gorgeous bloke from the gym!). He has heard that you havent got any plans for the evening and thought that you might like to share a bottle of wine (yes please!!). As the night progresses, the mood changes and the lights are dimmed. Cheeks flushed and inhibitions diminished, you lean in for a kiss. He returns the kiss with amazing passion and the moment soon ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Philips HP6433 Satin Ice Mains Epilator: Is the pain really worth it...? (632 words)

In my search for long lasting, smooth and non-hairy pins, I have tried probably every method known of hair removal, from shaving to waxing and sugaring. Still not 100% happy with any of the afore mentioned torturing procedures, I bought a Satin Ice Epilator from my Littlewoods catalogue. I choose this brand because it was on offer at the time! (costing me £35.99 instead of the usual £45.99) and also because the Satin Ice epilator claimed to have a pain relieving device to soothe the skin during epilation. Includes in the box, you get the epilator which is fitted with a lead and mains plug, cooling ?ice? pack with cover, cleaning brush and storage bag. You also ...  Read the complete review

I got two presents for my birthday from my BF this year. One was a Photomosaics jigsaw puzzle featuring Winnie the Pooh sat on the floor eating honey from a pot with his paw (I don't care what you think, it will look nice in the yet-to-come children's bedroom lol), the other one was the Philips Satin Ice 2 in 1. He was not desperately trying to tell me something, as I already had one of these 'electric pluckers' as he calls them, I have had 2 since I started needing to get rid of those unwanted hairs. And I had been using it regularly, once a week. He just heard me moan that my old (5 years old) epilator was overheating, and I was considering ...  Read the complete review

After years of shaving and waxing I decided to try Phillips Satin Ice Epilator. I thought 'who can be bothered shaving every few days when an epilator will take care of everything'. I would advise to shop around for this epilator or buy it in the sales. I bought mine from Currys for £26 in the sales but I have seen it as expensive as £65. INCLUDED IN PHILLIPS SATIN ICE PACKAGE 1) Satin Ice Epilator with mains plug 2) Satin Shaver Head 3) Skin Cooler and carry case 4) Protective Sleeve 5) Cleaning Brush 6) Travel Case 7) 1 year guarantee 8) Instruction Leaflet PREPARING THE SKIN How Silence of ...  Read the complete review
