Advantages: Beautiful, radiant, dewy skin!
Disadvantages: Perhaps not suitable for very dry skin.
I pleaded for my boyfriend to get me this for Christmas. I'd seen it on the stores, and on the shopping channel and just felt that unexplainable need for it! (I know you get it too ladies)
Let me explain that my skin is in ok condition, a few blemishes but my main concern is that it looks very tired and lack lustre quite a lot of the time. I am a newly qualified teacher and thus spend all my week working flat out with late nights and early mornings. Obviously not good for the skin.
I had been using Elemis products and had no problems with these, but they ran out and I (like us all) am very broke, thus asked for it as a present. As I said, I just felt the need for a new trendy, product. It was all about the hype and the buzz!
Let me tell you that the hype and the buzz around this product is deserved. I have noticed negative comments about the smell and packaging. Well, I would say it smells clean and fresh, with an underlying natural, essential oil type smell. I didn't find it off putting and it doesn't last long anyway. I must say I expected a glass bottle, but the plastic one is fine. Reassuringly, mine came sealed and the packaging is so cute and arty. I am a sucker for these kinds of things, but I love it!
There are no words to describe the texture, only that you will neer have tried anything like it before! It is simply divine! It has a beautiful sheen and absorbs easily into the skin. It should last a long time as you don't need very much and after application skin looks radiant and dewy. Not at all greasy or clogged. It feels soft and heavenly!
It has taken over a week for me to notice a big difference. Now I can I am so pleased. My skin looks radiant, clear and healthy!
My only worry would be that this product might not be quite enough for someone with really dry skin. Perhaps try a sample, or buy a smaller tub?
I know the price is a worry for some, but it should last and the results are worth it. My advice is to shop around. The BF got mine from ebay (was sealed tho). You can get good value sets from QVC, the 'Make-up Optional' kit comes with a full size and this is cheaper than in John Lewis, even if you include P+P. I think they also do a kit with trial sizes, or keep an eye out for their special deals! Good Luck!
Summary: Every woman should try this product (and the guys?)!!
