I first came across philosophy on QVC, I fell for the sales pitch and got hope in a jar and loved it! After recommending it to friends and family my mum got me this product for Christmas - thanks mum!
Purity made simple is a cream type wash off cleanser; you can use it on dry or damp skin.
I must admit I'm really impressed with it. My skin is slightly tricky and easily upset, I have combination skin that doesn't need much of an excuse to breakout in spectacular fashion so I'm always slightly wary of what I put on it, but having loved hope in a jar so much I decided I'd try it out.
I wear liquid foundation with powder over the hop, blusher and bronzer so any cleanser I use has a task ahead of it trying to remove it all. I have found that purity made simple manages to do this effortlessly. If I have been on a night out and have used more make up than usual I tend to put the cleanser on a dry face and massage it in, on a normal day I dampen my face first. The smell of the product is ok and it has a nice creamy, but not too thick texture to it. It works into a slight foam and washes off easily. I have found that it also even removes my mascara.
I have had no breakouts since using this product and it definitely doesn't feel greasy or oily. If anything my face can feel slightly tight after using it, especially if I've worked it into my skin for quite a long time, but my skin is left feeling really soft. I finish with hope in a jar after and that sorts out any tightness straight away.
I know skin is a funny thing and what suits one person won't suit another so I'm not suggesting that this is going to be a miracle product for everyone, but for me this has really helped my skin, I have fewer breakouts and my skin looks more radiant. I really like this product and would recommend it to people to are having a hard time with combination skin.
