I first got this product as my free gift when I signed up to a subscription of Vogue. In the shops, it's expensive, expensive by my standards anyway, so to get it free was a huge bonus, as otherwise I would have never tried this product. When it arrived in the post, I was having a fairly bad skin week, and was in need to a decent cleanser. So I ... Read the complete review

I first came across philosophy on QVC, I fell for the sales pitch and got hope in a jar and loved it! After recommending it to friends and family my mum got me this product for Christmas - thanks mum! Purity made simple is a cream type wash off cleanser; you can use it on dry or damp skin. I must admit I'm really impressed with it. My ... Read the complete review

I have always tried to follow a strict cleanse, tone and moisturise routine and for that reason I have tried a great deal of different products and I do change them around as there are always new products coming onto the market and this review is of the latest one I purchased. ==== Who are Philosophy ==== Philosophy was ... I bought this cleanser just as an on the spot purchase whilst Chanel surfacing, it was on QVC for £30. It arrived just days later. I have never found such an easy way to look after your skin; you literally just rub it onto dry skin for about one minute and then rinse it off. It removes make-up, even waterproof mascara, and if you use a flannel to ... Read the complete review

This is quite possibly the best cleanser I have ever used. It is a smooth, creamy, lightly scented lotion which you lather up onto the face with a little water. The product lathers well and removes all traces of makeup and mascara too (I don't use waterproof mascara so can't comment on its ability to remove that but it removes normal mascara ... THE BOTTLE The bottle is a white semi opaque color with a black lid which is a flip up lid. On the front of the bottle is name of the product following this there is writing which says: philosophy: purity is natural. we come into this world with all the right instincts. we are innocent, and therefore perceive things as they as they ... This is definitely one of my desert island must-have beauty products. In my opinion it is competitively priced and actually lasts for the number of months its advertised to (in fact I would say longer). It is definitely mild enough for any skin type and there is no horrible tightness after use. It removes all traces of make-up and can actually ... Read the complete review

I'm a fan of this stuff, let's get that out of the way first! Purity Made Simple is a facewash style cleanser - you apply to damp skin, massage, and then rinse. That appealed to me right off, because i just can't get on with cleansing and toning - if a rinse with water isn't involved, i don't feel clean. I'd describe the texture as ... Well, when going through my friends list and reading REAL reviews I came upon GrownUpGirlie's review of philosophy's (the company spells it with a lowercase P!) Purity Made Simple face cleanser. That made me want to try it out. Check out her other makeup reviews, I enjoy reading them. Now, I have only been a fan of philosophy's product ... Read the complete review

I received this product as part of the 'make-up optional skin' Philosophy pack. It was probably my least favourite of the bunch since I found it quite drying on the skin. Whilst it does remove make-up well, I would always need to double cleanse if i was wearing stubborn mascara for example and this would make my eyes sting slightly. At first, ... About a month or so ago, I bought a set of Philosophy products from QVC as part of a special offer they were doing. I only really wanted one product from the selection - the Hope in a Jar moisturiser - but looked at the other things as a bonus, and a great way of trying products I wouldn't normally be able to convince myself to spend that much ...
