First of all, I should say I have dry skin that gets flaky patches all the time, and is incredibly sensitive. I was worried when I got the great awakening that it would bother my skin, but decided to get it after using philosophy's hope in a jar theraputic moisturizer, which worked well. I'm glad I did--after one use of the great awakening, my skin was noticeably softer, and my flaky patches were gone. Even days later my skin was still soft. This may well get the award for the most horrid skincare product I've ever had the misfortune to buy. You get two containers of product, and you mix the requisite amount of each together and apply to your face. It's supposed to brighten, tighten, scare away any spots and generally be an all-round miracle. Hmph! What I did not realise is that one of the bottles basically contains hydrogen peroxide - and that's it. So what you're effectively doing is bleaching your face! And not only that, wait for this.
