I love this cleanser (Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser)
Member Name: Clare
Advantages: Inexpensive, works brilliantly, packaging is nice Disadvantages: Slightly old fashioned scent to it I love it! So inexpensive but is by far the best cleanser that I have tried, and I have tried a few! I guess it would be fair to say I have combination skin, can get oily and prone to spots (especially around my chin) but I also get extremely dry irritated skin on my cheeks and forhead (mild eczema I have had since childhood). This seems to be the only cleanser that can cope with both, and makes my skin feel really soft. Every now and again I go off and try other cleansers, but within weeks (sometimes even days) my skin is irritaded, dry and looks not very nice. As soon as I start using the cold cream cleanser again I see an immediate improvement. The smell is a bit old fashioned but it goes when you rinse it off. I've found muslin squares (baby section in boots etc) work really well for wiping off the cleanser. The cleanser also removes make-up brilliantly! I don't think I will bother to try any more new products, if it aint broke don't fix it! Summary: The best cleanser I have used! |
