Whatagain Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser: ... everyone always said that I would have lovely skin when I was older and I would get less wrinkles, well guess what, they lied. I have tried more cleansers than I can remember, and my skin stayed the same, I was really starting to get down about it. I decided to give Ponds Cold Cream a go as I wondered if I was being too harsh on my face, as I regularly spend a fortune on different creams and potions the £3.86 pric...

Harrypoodle Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser
... It s particularly good if you ve gone a little crazy at the weekend and got the glitter out - the thick consistency takes it right off. I have quite sensitive and dry areas on my face - close to my eyebrows - and the odd post-spot -injury and this really sorts them out. I wouldn t recommend it if you have oily skin as it s thick but it s great for combination and dry skins. I ve noticed that Boots have started their own range of retro-inspired products in cute glass jars but I say go with the original from Ponds and get an added bonus - my Grandma was so excited when I told her I used it. I got all her best stories about beauty products during the war. Excellent....

Tracy_1127 Ponds Hydro-Nourishing Cream
... I think of Pond s products I think of the 70s, most women at the time had some beauty product made by Pond s and my Mum was no excepton. In those days it was mostly the cold cream they used to remove their make up and moisturise the skin but nowadays there s a host of Pond s products to be had. On a recent perusal around Boyes I was looking for a night cream. I use sun block in the daytime during the sunny months so I don t use normal moisturiser except for at night so when I came upon a section of Pond s creams I wondered what they were like. I chose the Hydro-Nourishing Cream which claims to be fine as a day or night cream and very moisturising. I have dry s...

Charliewhippet Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser
... had always wanted to try a cold cream cleanser but I had no idea it was still being made. Good old Ponds! This little glass jar was hidden away on the bottom shelf in Boots. It was reasonably priced so I grabbed some. I love this product! I love the smell and the texture - it s like fluffy, gloopy melted marshmallow. Smoothing it onto my face, I feel like Joan Crawford in an elegant 1940s film. I prefer to massage my face with a warm cloth rather than simply tissue off the residue. It does leave a sort of tacky film on your skin, but in the winter months, I prefer to feel that my skin is being protected from the elements. I might not use the product in summer - or I ...
