Any regular readers of my reviews will be aware by now that I work as an Avon representative when my poor health allows. This means that I have access to a lot of the great offers and new products that are launched by Avon. When it comes to buying facial moisturisers I'm really rather choosy. I have really sensitive skin and I like stuff the contains SPF and I really have to be careful what I apply near my eyes cos once they run it's hard to stop them from doing so, so I like heavy duty moisturisers that are kind to me all at the same time, and belie me I'm asking a lot there! My sister gave me a jar of this anti-wrinkle cream after seeing it endorsed on fashion guru Gok Wan's 'How To Look Good Naked' television show. According to a panel of women testing the cream for the show, the night cream version of this Siana moisturiser out did many more expensive brands in terms of performance and comfort factor etc and was joint best with a similar cream by designer brand Lancome. Aldi like to pitch themselves as a more upmarket "discount" supermarket than the likes of Netto and Lidl, and as a result the middle classes seem to have embraced shopping there in the downturn, almost managing to kid themselves that it's merely a slightly cheaper version of Marks & Spencer's Food Hall.
