Advantages: Cost effective and economical to use and works!
Disadvantages: Doesn't contain SPF and when first applied feels a little heavy and clammy
When it comes to buying facial moisturisers I'm really rather choosy. I have really sensitive skin and I like stuff the contains SPF and I really have to be careful what I apply near my eyes cos once they run it's hard to stop them from doing so, so I like heavy duty moisturisers that are kind to me all at the same time, and belie me I'm asking a lot there!
The a....
The glass jar comes in light blue and white box where I'm clearly told on the front of it what it is and who it's by. The jar is 50ml in size and as I just mentioned is see through glass and has a dark blue plastic screw on/off lid to the top of it. On the front of the jar I'm told it is Siana 'Skin Kind' Moisturising Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream that contains Bioflavone and Co-Enzyme Q10 and it's suitable for all skin types. On the back of the jar I'm told a bit about the product and application details (as I'm told that on the outer box it comes in as well).

Using It....
First off let me tell you I wasn't expecting very much from this at all. I bought it in Aldi for £1.89 and it seemed a tiny price for a reasonably sized jar. However looking at the ingredients mentioned, this contains many ingredients that are actually in far more expensive brand versions of this type of product. Lets also not forget that Gok Wan spoke very highly of this, although it's an Aldi product so I was in two minds about using this to be truthful and tried to be open minded about it lol!
But let me tell you I was so pleasantly surprised by this product! The cream is an off white colour not too thick but it is a silky soft whipped sort of feeling cream and light as promised. You only need a small amount as is has a decent amount of an oily content in this and the skin on the face absorbs this immediately, drinking it in. It dries to the touch after being a little clammy feeling after a couple of minutes and skin not only feels very soft to the touch but it feels sort of hydrated and supple from within and seems to instantly lift the face, smooths it out alot and gives a skin radiance too. The only small niggle I have with it is that it does make some areas on my face tingle slightly although I can take this up to and over my sensitive eyes and get no adverse effects in them regions at all.
I have been using this daily now for the past few weeks as a moisturiser on a clean face and gone to the gym and stuff so worn in on none make-up days and I've also used it before applying ten ton of slap over it and either way it's great! I have noticed my face feels smoother, looks smoother and my wrinkles and lines (to me) appear somewhat softer too. My skin appears radiant and glowing and I've had no outbreaks of dry/oily skin or spots or anything I disapprove of.
This is a very economical moisturiser that in my view men or women can use. It has a slight sort of fruity aroma to it that wears off over time and although the box and jar say to apply it through the day I find that one application a day is well enough to give me good results! I can't believe this is only £1.89 for something that will last so long and gives great, noticeable results!
Only available from Aldi stores and is also available in a night-time formulation costing the same!
Summary: A great every-day moisturiser on a shoe string!
