Since I've got older long gone are the days of sleeping in my make up! Yes been there done that but these days since I hit my 30's I have a religious night time beauty regime and not only do I make sure I never sleep in my slap (no matter how drunk and tired I am) I also make sure that every night I take of all traces of my make up and I find myself with lots of products for separate things! I do own a few eye make up removers but I saw these ones advertised in a magazine I read with the heading of top ten beauty buys and this rated third as a must have so me being me off I went in search of them and I found them for 99p on offer. Again I ruined my good buy if they were ... Read the complete review

I wear less makeup these days than I used to but when I wear eye makeup at all I always like to get it off before I go to sleep, sometimes if I have had a lot to drink or I am just really tired this can be a major chore but Simple Cleansing Eye Make Up Remover Pads make the job much easier. Packaged in a recyclable white packet that resembles a miniature packet of baby wipes these pads are as simple as their name. Just remove one of the pads and use it gently to remove your eye makeup, if the makeup has been on a while you might have to rub a little harder but you never have to put too much effort in to it or rub till the skin hurts. They are ... Read the complete review

Priced at around £3 a pack, these are wipes to remove your eye make-up. There are available in the bigger branches of most Boots, Tescos, Sainsburys, Superdrug and etc. Simple are a well known brand, the adverts on TV are irritatingly airbrushed to perfection, as are the printed ads in magazines, they claim to be a very pared down and effortless product. They claim to be very straight forward, very honest, very Simple. The eye pads themselves are sold in a white little plastic packet, you tear off the resealable think plastic lid to take out the wipes you require. I tend to use one per eye so that gives me around 2 weeks of use from these, you may ... Read the complete review

I've become increasingly aware that my skin may not stay so elastic and wrinkle free for much longer and so have been on the look out for products that may help keep my skin looking 'youthful'. I tend to use water and lots of rubbing with a towel to remove my eye makeup, but apparently you shouldn't rub your eyes, as the skin will stretch and bag (eeek!). So, when I saw the bargain offer of two simple products for £4 in Sainsburys, I couldn't resist! The eye make-up remover pads are normally £3.75, which I wouldn't pay because I'm a poor student (sniff sniff), but to get a pack of them AND a pack of face wipes (which are more face friendly than the £1 scratchy wipes ... Firstly, I bought these amongst a few other products, had I realised the price beforehand I probably would not have purchased them. At £4.25 for 30 pads (though I did later see them for slightly less in Boots) they are a fair bit more expensive than most of Simples products, and my experience with them was dedinately not worth it. They are very small and I found that I needed to use at least one per eye (sometimes two for heavier makeup) and they were quite dry so do not remove the makeup all that easily, especially waterproof types. But although they promise to be caring and are 100% oil/alcohol free and Opthalmologically tested, I found the fabric ... Read the complete review
