... interesting than their usual green and white colours. The tube is a see-through blue colour, which fades to a darker blue towards the bottom. There is a blue and green line pattern which makes it look more attractive to the customer. On the front we are told the name of the brand and product and a brief description of what the product does and contains. On the back we are given a more detailed description and all the ingredients and how to use the product. Everything you need to know is on the tube. There is a...more

Clear Your Skin I came across this product last weekend when my daughter and I were doing some shopping in town. I am a fan of skin products as we all know when you get to a certain age things don't seem to be as perfect as they used to be. My skin is always usually pretty good but I still used toners and face masks when I can to give my skin a little helping hand. I don't often wear make up either which helps my skin to look more natural, I only wear abit if I am going to a special occasions and even that is a very little amount. My daughter also likes all these products and as she uses a lot more make up than I do she does buy a lot of facial scrubs and ...  Read the complete review

Being a 'sufferer' of combination skin, finding skincare products that work to effectively tackle oiliness without bringing the drier areas of your face out in a flaky panic is often a difficult and almost impossible task. Like most combination skin people, I suffer from an oily t-zone, particularly on the forehead but also around the nose and chin area, but find that my cheeks can easily become quite dry. Most products designed for oily skin I find can be way too harsh for my skin and strip the drier patches of the moisture it so desperately needs. Simple have produced a range targeted at those with oily / combination skin which is gentle enough for everyday use, while ...  Read the complete review

I've been using the Simple range cleanser and toner for a while now and I needed some new eye make up remover and a face wash and so thought I'd get the same brand to complement each other. I went to Boots and they had a 3 for 2 offer on the Simple range and I saw this clear skin oil balancing scrub and thought I'd get that as well as I could do with a new scrub. The Brand Simple has been around for almost 50 years and pride themselves on using no perfumes or colours in their products to make their range suitable for even sensitive skin. They first started producing soap and then moved onto skincare products and now have bath and body products ...  Read the complete review

I bought this facial scrub as I've been a bit lazy with my skincare regime recently, and I felt I needed to get back into the habit of regular exfoliation. The only reason I chose this particular one was that I spotted it on a bargain shelf in Boots for just £1! It comes in a light blue plastic tube which stands on it's lid so that the product is always ready to dispense from the tube and there's no need to spend ages squeezing it from one end of the tube to the other before you can use it. The lid has a flip top which fastens nice and tightly so shouldn't pose a problem if you wanted to take it travelling with you. The scrub is a lotion type ...  Read the complete review

The 'Simple' Company Simple has been around now for almost fifty years and has the proud claim that they produced the first perfume and colour free soap to be recommended by doctors for people with sensitive skin. Their tag line "We believe in goodness" runs true through all their products which are free from harsh chemicals and added colours and perfumes. Why Exfoliate Exfoliation is the removal of dead skin cells on the skin's outermost surface, and has been used for many years to help maintain the skin. Regular exfoliation prevents the build up of the dead skin cells which can result in the skin looking dull and ...  Read the complete review
