I usually use the Boots eye make up remover but been unable to get to Boots, I bought this product, figuring that if we didn't get along, then I would have to use it for only a couple of days.

Since it's made by Simple, I knew that I would have no nasty adverse reactions to the eye make up remover, but what did concern me was whether it sould work, or if its purity would make it too gentle to remove all traces of eye make up.

However, it does promise to remove even waterproof mascara, and suggests that if you find removing eye make up a chore, then this could be the one for you.

**Product and Packaging**

The eye make up remover comes in a very plain clear bottle, with a green screw off lid and all the instructions and information on said bottle.

The liquid itself is clear and has no discernible smell- just what I would expect from these simple products, since they are not perfumed and have no extra unnecessary added extras.

The eye make up remover is 100% oil free, so there is no sticky hard to remove residue and has secret selected ingredients which help to care for your skin. There it is again...that ever elusive promise and suggestion of a magic ingredient!

**Using it...**

Simple!!

Apply to cotton wool, and wipe across the eye area (careful not to rub)

The product is easy to get out of the bottle. there is no frantic pumping of a pump action bottle, simpley turn the bottle upside down and give a little squeeze- the product comes out. No second guessing as to whether it's finished or not- you can see because the bottle is clear.

**Price and Availability**

£2.98 for 125ml, which is good value. This is available at chemists and supermarkets, along with other products in the simple range

**What I think**

I would certainly buy this again. The eye make up remover is non irritating and really does work. i can get rid of all traces of make up without frantically rubbing my eyes, and once used, there is no stining or greasy feeling. After use, however, the aye area does feel moisturised, so this has to be a good thing, no drying out.

I like the fact that the bottle is plastic- no need to worry about breakages on tiled floors. It's also easy to see when you need to buy more, because as I said before, the bottle is clear.

I was cynical about something suggesting that it was so mild and gentle, and yet promising to remove all traces of eye make up. Surely this could not succeed where others have failed. However, at a very reasonable price, it has proved to be an excellent eye make up remover which really does the business
