Advantages: Cheap, very effective

Disadvantages: Caused stinging in my eyes but this hasn't happened to anyone else I've spoken to

Simple products are great because they're not perfumed or coloured (just kind, as the late 90's ad went) which is great for sensitive skin. Unfortunately, I wouldn't say I have particularly sensitive eyes, yet this product does seem to sting a little when it gets in the eyes. I'm guessing the general census would be 'don't put it in your eyes then' which is a fair comment for most products other than eye make up remover! This is the only eye make up remover I've used which does actually irritate the eye, and I often wear kohl pencil so it's important that I have a make up remover that isn't going to sting.

The liquid itself is clear and the bottle is simple, just like the product. It's excellently priced and I have friends who use it who haven't reported any problems, so the irritation could just be a personal issue.

As an eye make up remover it's absolutely fantastic. It removes all make up - including waterproof - very easily and effectively. I wear a lot of eye make up generally and this product definitely removes all of it without leaving a trace behind. No rubbing is needed as the make up comes away on to the cotton wall that has been soaked in this product.

I note that this product is advertised as conditioning. I wouldn't say it's particularly conditioning, as my eyes certainly don't feel softened or conditioned after use, but they don't feel overly stripped either.

I would highly recommend this as an eye make up remover and just hope that you don't have the same stinging sensation as I did when I got too much of it in my eye!

Summary: Definitely a good product, especially considering the price
