Advantages: Cheap, part of the Simple range

Disadvantages: Irritates my eyes, doesn't remove waterproof mascara very well

I bought this eye makeup remover as a cheap alternative to a more expensive one I had been using and have used other Simple products which I have liked. As Simple gear their products towards people with sensitive skin, and advertise their products stating that they do not sting or irritate even sensitive eyes I assumed that I would have no problems with it. However, this is the only eye makeup remover I have tried that DOES sting my eyes when removing makeup - so much so that I have to wash my eyes out with water to stop the irritation!

I initially thought that it might be because I use waterproof mascara, but having checked the bottle it does state that it removes 'all eye make up including waterproof mascara'. Apart from this, actually getting the mascara off my eyes is itself a mission as it takes so long for it to wipe off!

I have since given the bottle to a friend to see if they have more luck with it and certainly won't be buying it again. I have since switched to No 7 eye makeup remover which removes my waterproof mascara effortlessly.

Summary: A not very effective eye makeup remover
