Advantages: Lovely face wash for beautifully soft skin

Disadvantages: Can be a little drying - use with a moisturiser!

This simple foaming facewash has been my facewash of choice for a really, really long time.... Facewash has been one area of my life which has never been made complicated - purely by the love of 'simple' (the clue is in the name) products.
I now have a vast array...but it started out with this.
Having left the teenage years and their related products (clearasil etc) and having suffered all my life from ridiculously sensitive skin (you can imagine how that when down with stingy astringent spot fluid) Simple attracted me because of it's clean white packaging and associated promise to care for sensitive skin.
The bottle this product comes in is a 150 ml capacity squeezy tube 'top down' format. This is good for getting last little bit out of the bottle, and also is good for storage purposes, as the bottle stands firm on the shelf, top down. It's trademark simple green and white (as detailed in the picture) looks good and not at all cheap - though for just £2.60 (ish) a bottle, it certainly is. It contains pro-vitamin B5 and vitamin E, is not perfumed, not coloured and is 100% soap free, it is also dermatologically approved. Hurrah.
The contents of the bottle take the form of an almost gel-like, pearly white cream which feels soft and does not contain any exfoliating particles or the like to aggrivate sensitive skin.
You are instructed to wet your face, and then with water work a small amount (a blob about the size of half a penny does the trick for me) into a lather in your hands. You then work this lather into your skin. After cleansing, you rinse away with water. The consistency of the cream is quite thick, and when worked with water lathers up to form a thick foamy, creamy texture which feels lovely and refreshing on your skin.
As promised, absolutely no skin complaints here (and believe me, EVERYTHING makes my skin hurt in some way) and the foam washes off leaving you cleansed, fresh and skin super soft. Use morning and night for ab fab results.
I would say that it is very important to use a moisturiser after using this face wash, as it can be quite drying, as with many face washes, but other than that the whole process is well, just so 'simple'!

Summary: Simply super.
