A cheap and cheerful face wash that works very well (Simple Foaming Facial Wash)

Simple is one of my favourite skin care brands. As someone with sensitive skin who always has to be concerned about reactions to beauty products, I really appreciate the fact that this brand always contains no perfume and no colour. This foaming facial wash is no exception.

I was lucky enough to find this facial wash for sale at Lidle for £1 for a 150ml tube. I think it is generally more expensive than this but Simple is not a pricey brand so it should be within most budgets.

The tube itself is great. It may not be pretty but it isn't unattractive either with the simple green and white colour scheme decorated with abstract blades of grass in different shades of green. I love the container because it stands up and is very stable so no worries of knocking it over. Also I like the way it sits on its cap so you never have to worry about getting the last drop of facial wash from the bottom of the tube - as the bottom is actually the top!

This facial wash comes out very thick and you only need a little bit, about the size of a 20p piece I would say. I rub it between my wet hands before applying and it foams up very effectively. Then I rub on my face and rinse off. Because of the foam it feels like this cleans thoroughly so my skin feels very refreshed after.

Because my skin is dry it is usually difficult for me to find a foaming product that is used with water that suits me. In the case of this facial wash, I don't have this problem because it is moisturising.

Summary: This is my everyday choice for washing my face.
