Advantages: Non greasy, moisturises, softens
Disadvantages: none
Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser is a fantastic light moisturiser to use especially for people who have sensitive skin. The moisturiser has no perfume or colour added to it and it is suitable for everyday use. The moisturiser also lasts for twelve hours giving you maximum moisturising effects.
The moisturiser is fairly cheap to buy and only costs £2.99 for a 125ml bottle. The bottle is fairly simple; it's mainly white with a green dispenser and a white plastic lid. The lid screws onto the bottle quite tightly so it keeps the moisturiser inside fresh and you avoid the risk of it drying out.
The moisturiser is bright white in colour and is of medium consistency, it has no smell at all because there is no perfume added to it. When I am applying the moisturiser to my face I find that I don't have to use a lot of it. A blob the size of a 10p piece is sufficient enough to cover my face and neck.
I find that the moisturiser is absorbed really quickly into my skin and it doesn't feel sticky or greasy when I'm applying it. I find that the moisturiser is absorbed into my skin almost instantly; it doesn't leave my skin looking shiny or feeling greasy or oily. This is probably one of the first moisturising creams I have used which hasn't given me a shiny looking face.
I find that the moisturiser leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and almost velvety to the touch. My skin also looks more refreshed and brighter since I have been using Simple, this is probably because it isn't jam packed full of perfumes and additives like other lotions and potions I have used.
Although this is a face cream I also have another use for it, well I have two. It is also a very good base to use before applying make up. I find that my foundation lasts longer when I have applied Simple and it gives me a more flawless natural look. Sometimes when I am applying my foundation I won't apply the Simple before hand, instead I will mix some Simple and some foundation together to make my foundation look more natural and less obvious.
Simple moisturiser is a great hand cream, I apply a tiny amount of it to my hands and it leaves them feeling highly moisturised and soft. I think that the cream leaves my hands feeling softer and more moisturised than my face at times.
None of Simples products are tested on animals contain animal-derived ingredients or animal-derived glycerine.
The moisturiser contains Pro-Vitamin B5, this is used to increase the moisture retention capacity of your skin which helps to keep dry skin highly moisturised, supple and give it more elasticity. It also contains a UV filter, anti inflammatory and anti itching properties to help stimulate skin regeneration.
You can purchase Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser from ASDA, Boots, Morrison's, Superdrug, Tesco and Sainsbury's. Although prices may differ so check around for a cheaper deal to save some money.
