Advantages: Good quality, Does great job, Vitamins and goodness for skin

Disadvantages: Not cheap

When the weather gets cold, your hands and face tend to get chapped and your skin goes dry, crackly and it is really unpleasant. This happened to me in the winter, so I decided to buy some kind of moisturiser. I went for the Simple light moisturiser as it was recommended to me by someone that uses it on a regular basis and said it is great! I picked mine up at Boots for -- £3.28 -- and it was a beneficial buy as my face and hands are now soft as can be, even with the cool weather hitting us.

The Look
~~~~~~
It comes in a 125ml container that is white with a green colour scheme, following the colours of the Simple logo. On the front is a label with the Simple logo at the top titled 'Hydrating light moisturiser' just below. It also notes the active ingredients of: Pro-Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E. Following a little simple design, it is clearly labelled that Simple are 'Experts in sensitive skin' and that the cream has 'no perfume, no colour'. This is also reiterated on the top where you screw off the lid.
There is another label on the back, which includes all the useful information such as the best way to use it and what it does, including the following active benefits:
* Pro-Vitamin B5 - Restores, softens and smoothes
* Vitamin E - Moisturises and improves skin condition
* pH Balanced - Works in harmony with your skin
Down below, it is also made clear that:
* There is no perfume or colour added
* Dermatologically tested and approved
* Experts in sensitive skin
Their website is: www.simple.co.uk
The cream itself is colourless as they say; it is plain white. When applied, it leaves your skin moist and wet but soon soaks in to leave it smooth and fresh. If you look at it in the light, it actually gives off a sparkle or many sparkles should I say. I am guessing these are the vitamins or goodness in it, but my hand shimmers in the light once it has absorbed in to my skin. It doesn't make your hands really shiny or anything, but does leave them with a sparkle!
Using the Moisturiser
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It works really well! First, unscrew the top, and then squeeze it upside down carefully to apply some to your hands. For best results, apply a small amount to your hands and smooth gently into your face and neck. It can also be used on your hands, as I found it works really well. They recommend that you use it with the facial wash too for best results for your skin. It is easy to use and not messy. If it gets on any clothing by accident, just rinse them out with water. If it gets in your eye(s), rinse it out thoroughly with warm water. If irritation continues, then consult your doctor for help.

It is very effective and leaves your skin feeling smooth and hydrated rather than dry and chapped. It is much more hydrating than other moisturisers, as when you apply it, it leaves your skin shiny and moist as well as giving it vitamins and goodness. It is best to use a small amount, or your face will be covered in this. You can always apply more if you feel the need, but keep it to a minimum or it is a waste.

Smell
~~~~
It barely smells of anything. If anything, the smell is a pleasant one. It has a very light smell, and doesn't really smell of much but if I had to give it a flavour, I would say it most smells of coconut, but is like a very light perfume that has faded away. It defiantly won't cover up the smell of your perfume/aftershave, because it is very weak, yet pleasant.
Where to Buy
~~~~~~~~~

As I mentioned before, I bought mine at Boots for £3.28, so you will be sure to get it there. Many other pharmacies will sell it too, including supermarkets in the toiletries section. It is easy to buy and comes at not a bad price, as it will last you quite long. Be careful when using it as I say, because you don't want to apply excess or it is a waste.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In conclusion, I would recommend this cream to anyone as it does a great job and isn't at a bad price, considering it is a very good product. It works really well, leaving you with smooth, soft skin after use. It also acts as a great base for make-up as they say on the back. Being male, I don't use make-up but it is something to try for you ladies out there!
Thanks for reading,
Thank god there's no advertising in this review, no history of the company and no ingredients. It's as simple to read as the Simple product you've reviewed here and despite the price I'm sure it will impress many.
