It contains Pro-vitamin B5 and Vitamin E which both help to replenish moisture and smooth the skin, Jojoba oil, Shea Butter and Bisabolol (which is used for its anti-irritant, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties). The cream is also dermatologically tested and approved and contains no harsh chemicals. One thing I also noticed, as well as it not being tested on animals, is that it doesn't contain any animal derived ingredients either which is good news for those animal friendly people out the...more

Premium Review Simple Kind To Eyes Balm: A must for tired eyes. (508 words)

I purchased this product recently as I like to apply some kind of eye cream or balm to my eyes in the morning, not only to soften and refresh the area but to act as a smoothing base for my concealer too. I use Cliniques "All About Eyes" cream at night but find it a little rich for me to use in the mornings too so I decided to see if my go to skincare brand - Simple - had anything to offer and of course, they did :-) Simple's 'Kind To Eyes Balm' is made to protect and care for your eyes - the most delicate and sensitive part of the face. It promises to reduce puffiness and 'refresh tired eyes'. It is cooling and soothing and claims to leave your eyes ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Be kind to your eyes and moisturise!! (590 words)

Having run out of the last simple eye cream that I was using I was on the lookout for a replacement that would fit in with my now tighter budget (last purchase was on a half price offer). I really like the simple range of face products as I always feel that I get good value for money and also that they don't colour or perfume their products which I feel is a bonus when using creams around sensitive eyes. ***Packaging*** The balm comes in a squeezy plastic tube within a small cardboard box all of which are recyclable where facilities exist. There is a little clear lid (which I've nearly lost a few times) on the end of the spout presumably as a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Simple Kind To Eyes Balm: Refreshing & perfect for young skin (501 words)

I got this about a month ago in a sample size 5ml bottle free with a pack of Simple face wipes. I didn't actually need a new pack of face wipes at the time but the free eye cream convinced me to buy them! Simple claim this eye cream will reduce puffiness and refresh tired eyes. It contains multivitamins including vitamin B5 which softens and soothes. It also contains jojoba oil to brighten and shea butters to replenish. The actual bottle size is 15ml and it costs £3.91 in Boots. ***Packaging... It comes in a little white tube with green lettering in different shades reading 'Simple Kind to eyes balm and a green swirly pattern beneath ...  Read the complete review

I bought some of this eye balm after I tried a free sample that came with some of the Simple make-up remover wipes I was purchasing. Like the name suggests, this product claims to reduce puffiness and refresh tired eyes when it is applied morning and night. You can buy the product in most chemists for normally just under £4 and you get 15ml of the cream in a squeezy tube that is 10cm long in total, so it is the perfect size to slip into any wash bag without taking up too much room. Staying true to the Simple brand the product has no perfume and no colour, which is really good if it's going to be applied near your eyes. The ingredients that it does ...  Read the complete review
