Advantages: Availability & loads of other rhings!

Disadvantages: none for me

I have started to try and use products for sensistive skin as i can often have a few 'blemishes' and the usual products for 'blemish prone' skin can be drying and don't seem to make much difference after the initial zapping. i have also had a couple of reactions to skin products and so wanted to scale down on the chemicals.

The Simple range has been around forever in my mind! In terms of brand they are well known and i remember that ad campaign 'not coloured, not perfumed, just kind'. However this is the first time i have used one.

I must say it is a delight!

The product is a clear 'loose' gel and when you look at the bottle it has air bubbles in it. The gel feels cool and light. It is not oily. You are instructed to apply generously with cotton wool and use upward strokes over your skin. I have found this very effective & simple, also massaging your skin upwards will invigorate and stimulate your face, all of which helps against the signs of ageing and improves circulation!

This particular cleanser has a pore minimising promise as well, which i assume is managed by the addition of witch hazel - this nicely attends to all my pore minimising needs.

This product barely smells, i can detect something, maybe a little floral, buut its very delicate.

Other added ingredients include; chamomile, pro-vit 5, vit E, & geranium to soften, restore, moisturise & regenerate. apparently. who knows!

After use my skin felt softer, smoother, clean, & fresh. Perfect.

Looking at long term use i have been using this for about 3 weeks now. i have used about a sixth of the 200ml bottle. i have less 'blemishes' and the general condition of my skin is considerably better. i actually feel good about putting this on my skin.

i bought it in Boots for £2.99.

i would reccomend this product to those with all kinds of skin, except perhaps very dry as the witch hazel may be a little harsh.

Summary: Get some

I'm going to buy this. I have been looking for a review on this for ages and couldn't find one and this was very helpful. Thanks! I'm wondering whether or not a toner should be used with it though, because it does claim to be a 'toning cleanser'.
Great Review! =]
