... really made a big difference to my skin. I have an oily T zone and dry areas of my face aswell, which makes cleansing very difficult, as I can't usually find a product which accomodates all these annoyances! However this product has ticked all the boxes. I do agree with most the points they make about their product: Control shine - yes, my sking definitely is more matt in problem areas such as my nose. Revive - to an extent. My skin feels much better and hydrated after using these wipes, however I think only diet...more

Premium Review Simple Oil Balancing Cleansing Wipes: Simply balanced (388 words)
by - written on 12/05/09 (Very useful, 18 readings)

By bedtime, there's only one thing I want to do: fall into bed as quickly as humanly possible. Bed is warm and cosy, and all of those jobs you need to do before you can snuggle in - the face washing, the contact removing, the hamster feeding, the alarm clock setting - are nothing but trouble. So don't do them. Okay, so feed the hamster, or the RSPCA will be onto you. And set the alarm or you'll *wish* the RSPCA were onto you. But face washing? Don't waste your time - the few pounds you'll spend on wipes equate to a few minutes of extra sleep every week (especially if you wait to see what's on offer when you're buying), and when they clean you up as ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Convenient skincare in the form of 25 wipes (730 words)

Much to my disdain, my face is still a little prone to break outs. If I fall asleep with make up on for just one night, you can guarantee that I'll be peering at a nice spot or two a few days later. Not that I think anyone would look at me and think "ooh, acne", but I when I get a few spots, they do tend to be very obvious to me and my blemishes do tend to lead to scarring. So, obviously I want to try and minimise the risk of getting breakouts. I think a good skincare regime that's suitable for my skin would contribute to minimising this risk (but, really, I've realised that diet, water intake and exercise also goes a long way to help... which is where I've ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Simple Oil Balancing Cleansing Wipes: Simple face wipes - anti-nagging miracle! (496 words)
by - written on 01/06/09 (Very useful, 80 readings)
Rating:

Much to my mothers dismay, I have never been good at any skin regimes she has ever tried to enforce upon me. Daily facial cleanse? Nightly make-up removal? Daily facial scrub? Bi weekly face wash? Weekly face wash? Any wash? Yeah, I am terrible at anything relatively time consuming to get rid of spots/reduce pores. I am terribly impatient and find it all a bit faffy, and generally don't see any results, which just annoys me to no end! If I am gonna spend 5 mins plus splashing around with cleansers/toners/pore decreasing products I want it to be 5 minutes well spent. Not 5 minutes I will never get back again. Luckily, this has all changed now ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Fresh face wipes that do their job! (199 words)

I like Simple Face Wipes, I can't say I'm overtly enthusiastic about them but they do their job better than any on the market at the moment and after using them I genuinly feel less oily (although I can't say this feeling lasts for long!) There is 25 wipes to each packet, which although it doesnt feel like loads, they still manage to last for ages. The smells is quite nice and fresh, not really perfumy like some others, and they also don't feel particularly heavy or soaking in liquid. In fact, compared with some others I would say these wipes appear quite dry, espeically at the end of the packet, however they still do their job! The wipes do cleanse my skin and ...  Read the complete review
