By bedtime, there's only one thing I want to do: fall into bed as quickly as humanly possible. Bed is warm and cosy, and all of those jobs you need to do before you can snuggle in - the face washing, the contact removing, the hamster feeding, the alarm clock setting - are nothing but trouble.

So don't do them.

Okay, so feed the hamster, or the RSPCA will be onto you. And set the alarm or you'll *wish* the RSPCA were onto you. But face washing? Don't waste your time - the few pounds you'll spend on wipes equate to a few minutes of extra sleep every week (especially if you wait to see what's on offer when you're buying), and when they clean you up as well as soap but without getting water everywhere they're worth every penny. The addition of Zinc, a natural antibacterial, gives the wipes a lovely fresh aroma and should also prevent you from getting spots, although one look at my skin proves that claim may be somewhat spurious...

Not only do they clean quickly, they clean well, removing grime and makeup with few problems - even removing mascara from around my super-sensitive eyes without causing an allergic waterfall of tears.

And yes, all extra sleep aside, you *will* feel a bit guilty flinging a wipe in the bin every day. It is, after all, extra landfill, regardless of how good a job it does. But if you use the wipe until all of the cleaning fluid is used (and not just on you: they seem to also be good for wiping dust from plant leaves. I give the plant on my dressing table a wipe every evening once my face is done, and not only hasn't it died, it hasn't developed any spots, either...) you can almost justify them to yourself. Almost. Well, it umm, saves on, err... facecloth washing?

And the all-important part of any review of a wipe, be it for babies, faces, floors or doors, is the sticky tab: does it stick back down again, or will your whole pack of wipes dry out after one use? Well, I'm pleased to report that the stick factor on this package is high, and not a single wipe has been lost through drying. Success!
