... This particular product has small 'microbeads' to exfoliate. It lathers relatively well with warm water, cleansed and exfoliated effectively but I did notice that my skin felt rather dry and taut afterwards. Although I prefer how my skin feels after using more moisturising cleansers such as the 'Foaming Facial Wash' I remembered that it was, infact an oil controling wash after all and perhaps it needed to 'strip' the skin a little in order to do its job so proceeded with my regular skincare/makeup routine as ...more

Simple's Oil Control range (blue packaging) is a little harder to find than the regular products, but when in the Summer months I started to find my skin getting a little oilier during the day I decided to search for it. As we all know oily skin and makeup do not mix well and unfortunately as I work in the makeup industry I cannot go without it, so I had to find a way to battle through it. I finally found it in a larger Boots store, and at £3.99 for 150ml, it is one of Simples more expensive products but I still think that it is great value for money. It uses Zinc PCA to absorb oil, Witch Hazel to tone and tighten pores and a natural antibacterial to ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Simple Oil Control Regulating Exfoliator Wash

i bought this cleanser and have been using it for about 1.5 months now. i have the typical teenage skin, and live in a hot, humid country.

truthfully, i dont think it reduces the amount of blemish. maybe it's my hormones, i dont know. it's pretty simple to use, though it doesnt lather as much as i expected. it's easy to wash off, and doesnt strip your skin of all the moisture. oil control? 3/10, pretty good for a cleanser already.

overall, it does its job well enough. and it doesnt aggravate the skin by making the imflammation even worst (my skin is not as red after using it).

so, i would say it's a rather reasonable and worth it buy. but i think its effects could only be reaped long-term (like most products)

FOR PURE CLEAR SKIN OOH! At the moment I do like exfoliating facial washes; they make my face all squeaky clean. So, having run out of the one I had been using, I purchased this one, made by SIMPLE. Having little or no loyalty to any one particular brand of anything (How fickle?) I tend to buy whatever is available, as long as it is one of the makes I have heard of. Surely Simple products wouldn't cause a break out of nasty rashes and have me scratching? After all, as a marketing plus, Simple products are 100% perfume and colour free, and have no unnecessary additives (implied that the necessary additives WILL be in there). The products ...  Read the complete review

It is cheap Fails to do what it says on the bottle

Affordable and good at removing eye makeup wierd scent, slightly coarse....and they lied to me!!

Lovely sized clothes and don't irritate eyes. Takes to many clothes to get rid of all eye make up and takes a lot of 'scrubbing'.

Really cheap, refreshing, gentle on skin Difficult to massage in, doesnt smell that nice
