FOR PURE CLEAR SKIN
OOH!
At the moment I do like exfoliating facial washes; they make my face all squeaky clean. So, having run out of the one I had been using, I purchased this one, made by SIMPLE. Having little or no loyalty to any one particular brand of anything (How fickle?) I tend to buy whatever is available, as long as it is one of the makes I have heard of.
Surely Simple products wouldn't cause a break out of nasty rashes and have me scratching?
After all, as a marketing plus, Simple products are 100% perfume and colour free, and have no unnecessary additives (implied that the necessary additives WILL be in there). The products also contain active ingredients specially selected to care for even the most sensitive skin, and are dermatologically approved.
The oil control products are proven to promote non shiny skin and contain ingredients to reduce blemishes.
I always think that with all of these products making all of these promises, we should all have perfect clear, radiant and blemish free skin.
**Packaging**
This product comes in a 150ml green squeezy container with a flip up lid, which it stands on. All of the instructions and ingredients are on the packaging.
**The Cleanser**
Squeeze a little on your hand…it's a completely clear product with very little smell- definitely no added perfume there.
**What will it do for me?**
This is going to smooth my skin and help to unblock all of those nasty pores, as well as remove my make up and grime. Once all of this is done, the addition of Witch Hazel will tone and tighten those unblocked pores.
**Ingredients**
Lots of ingredients to ensure fabulous clear skin…
Witch Hazel to tone those pores
Zinc and an anti bacterial agent to help reduce blemishes
Lavender and Chamomile for their claming effects
The ingredients are all oil and alcohol free and contain no animal derived ingredients.

**On to using it…**
This is simple (ha!). Apply a small amount to your face and neck and massage using your fingertips (obviously as opposed to the palms of your hands or any other body part), and rinse away with water.
It is suggested that you use it every day, alongside other Simple products.
Firstly, it has to be said that I sometimes get confused with these beauty products. Do I apply to a clean face or a dirty one? Often cleansers suggest that you have already removed make up and cleaned your face.
No, I decided that since it is a cleanser, it can do the cleaning, and have been using it without washing my face beforehand.
So, a little bit onto my hands and then onto damp face. It is a gel like substance and is very cooling when applied. The micro particles are barely noticeable, although they can be felt a little bit, but not in an unpleasant way. At no time have I felt as though they (the micro particles) are tearing at my skin and I have not had the feeling that the top layer of my skin is coming off as some harsher products can do. The wash really feels as though it cleans my face and works into a nice lather; always good for actually believing that it's working. It rinses off easily and leaves no sticky residue or lingering smell.
Yes, my face feels squeaky clean after using this, which I have been trying to do daily, and it does feel soft, but that could be wishful thinking.
I don't know if my pores are toned and tightened
I can comment only on what I can see and feel- great product if you want a gentle wash which leaves your face feeling clean but not sore. If it's in the shop next time I need an exfoliating wash, I will buy it.
