As I have sensitive skin, my facial moisturising needs are basic. All I want is hydration and a little protection from sun and pollution, without any perfumes, colours or additives. So "SIMPLE Regeneration Age Resisting Day cream SPF 15" seemed like a good choice. ~ Purity vs. Additives ~ The brand name SIMPLE is effective at conveying the impression of its products being very pure and free from all unnecessary additives. Happily this moisturiser has no colour or perfume, but it does have extra ingredients and these might not be suitable for everyone. I started using the Simple range about six months ago when I was given several trial products. This day cream has a partner - the Age Resisting Night Renewal, which I also use - they are supposed to compliment each other in the same way a shampoo and conditioner do. I love the day cream as a moisturizing base for my make-up. I have tried many creams which, when you apply concealer over the top rubs off into balls or shards. This Simple cream, however, is quickly absorbed into the skin and provides a smooth base. It does look quite shiny and greasy if you don't apply any make-up however. My skin gets very dry and even though I have found two great face scrubs that don't dry my skin as much I still need to use a moisturiser. I did start using Olay Diffinity and loved it but really couldn't justify the price, so for Christmas the other half really surprised me. You see normally I get a lot of useful pressies from him but this year he actually bought me more personal bits (maybe it was the threat of death!) One of the pressies was a Simple gift set that included this moisturiser. I held back the urge to ask him if he thought I needed an age resisting moisturiser!
