Advantages: perfume and colour free.Suitable for sensitive skin
Disadvantages: non
This must be the era of Regeneration. It seems to be the 'in thing' to have the word 'regeneration, regenerating' in skin care products.
I am now part of the regeneration generation when I bought the Simple Regeneration Plus firming smoothing eye cream in Tesco. I was looking for a replacement eye cream as I have just scrapped the last bit of the Clarins eye cream and I was looking for a cheaper option. The Simple Regeneration eye cream was going at a reduced price, and now I am suck into the regeneration hype.
Simple is known for their range of perfume and colour free product especially suitable for sensitive skin. This suits me well as I find perfume skincare unbearable especially when I am trying to get to sleep.
The product:
Simple Regeneration Plus Firming Smoothing Eye Cream is part of the regeneration range on anti aging. The indication on the packaging states that the eye cream will help to visibly firm and smooth the skin around the delicate eye contour area. The vitamin mineral ingredient is supposed to help stimulate skin regeneration and reduce skin aging. There is also Iris extract to help improves skin time and firmness whilst reducing fine lines and wrinkles. The tube is presented nicely in bronze packaging, which is different from the signature white and green Simple colour.
How do I find the eye cream:
I like the feel of the tube, the light beige cream dispense easily from the bronze tube without any waste. The cream absorb easily in to the skin. To apply, simply make one squeeze on the tube and a single pearl drop size cream is dispense. Thereafter, gently dapped the cream with the tip of your finger around the contour of the eye, upper and lower, taking care not to pull the skin as it would form lines.
I did not see the benefit immediately but after a week of application, I do notice that the lines are less visible. I know it is impossible to get rid of these lines and I am happy with the reduced visibility. I have problem with dark circles and I could see an improvement in the skin tone around my eye area. After two week, the eye area does feel firmer and much more moisturised.
The Simple Regeneration Plus range of anti aging skin care caters for older skin type and the range includes anti wrinkle firming day cream with SPF 12, intensive line reducing serum, anti wrinkle firming night cream and moisture rich anti wrinkle moisturising cream.
Finally, price and place of purchase:
I bought the eye cream in Tesco at £6.99, reduced from its original price of £12.99. The tube is available in 15ml size. The cream can also be bought in Boots and Superdrug.
Don't mind really to be in the regeneration generation!
Summary: Good for older skin type
