I'm trying to be good with my spending at the moment, and am only buying new beauty products when I've ran out of something - which isn't very often considering how much stuff I own! I did, however run out of face scrub recently, so was looking for a new one that wouldn't cost the earth. My first choice of shop would have been Boots, however due to the hours I was working I couldn't get there, so I ordered one along with my online shop from ASDA. Unfortunately there was not a huge amount of choice, and I ended up opting for the Simple scrub merely because it was the cheapest one available. I must admit, it's years since I used Simple skin care products, ... Read the complete review

'Simple' is a skincare brand I have come to trust. Rarely let down by their products, this consistency in quality is what has led me to use their cleansers, toners and moisturisers on a daily basis. As with any skincare products, after a while and with no exfoliation the skin can become congested and the pores clogged - so when I realised I needed to find a nice, large 'grained' exfoliatior, where do you think I looked first? :-) Simples 'Smoothing Cleansing Scrub' claims to act as a 'regular detox to remove dead skin cells and impurities'. Essential for fresh, healthy skin, this product uses rice granules - a natural, gentle exfoliator to reveal brighter, ... Read the complete review

Yet again another simple review, but I love their products and want people to try them, as they are so good to your skin and a god send if you have sensitive skin. This scrub is a facial wash but has an exfoliant in it and this helps to remove scrub to remove dead cells and impurities and leaves skin much smoother and more evenly balanced. The scrub shouldnt really be used more than a couple of times a week because it could aggrevate skin if used too much. The exfoliant is really gentle on skin though and has tiny micro beads which help to lift up dirt from pores and clean deep down. This scrub like all other simple products has vitamin e to moisturise skin and protein ... Read the complete review

I had never used Simple products on a long term basis before trying their Smoothing Cleansing Facial Scrub. It was quite cheap, retailing at about £2.99 for about 150ml. To be honest I wasn't holding too much hope for the product, it was just something which I picked up because I had run out of my usual facial scrub - 'Lush's Ocean Salt', and I needed a quick replacement. Wow! What a bargain beauty essential! I reccommend this not only for my fellow ladies, but for the blokes also! This scrub does not have a strong scent (so boys, you won't be smelling like a girl!), and it is not like one of those facial scrubs which takes all your skin off, or one that ... I must say I have abit of a think for Simple products as I have quite problem skin and do not like to use to many products with harsh chemicals in on my skin. I use this product about once a week give or take and think it is fab. I use the facial wash first and then this product followed by their light hydrating moistoriser. The product itself is very good, it feels like it cleans deep down whilst removing dead skin on top without that feeling like you have scrubbed half your face away though sometimes something more exfoliating may be needed, but with regular use this would maybe be avioded. Advantages: * Cheap * Does what it ... Read the complete review
