Advantages: kind to skin, no perfume,

I am an avid fan of the Simple skin care range and have been using their products for several years now. I am in my twenties and suffer with mild adult acne and have oily skin. My skin can be sensitive to harsher products but to date, I have had no problems with this product.

The clear bottle is great for showing you how much you have left. I use this product twice a day and tend to get around 6 - 8 weeks per bottle which is not bad for the £2 to £3 price tag (depending where you buy it, I get mine from Tesco for around £1.98).

I find using cotton wool pads, (slightly larger ones - cut into 4 so you get 2 days worth per pad) works better than cotton wool balls. You can use it sparingly but do not let the cotton wool dry out while you are using it, it will not feel very pleasant on your skin and will remove less dirt.

Normally used after washing and drying the face but I find I get the best results when I use it after steaming my face. Big open pores are easier to clean and you will really see the results. Do not just limit it to your face though! Around the neck and collarbone area, and behind your ears, give it a wipe and see the results on the pad.

My skin is quite oily so I do not experience much drying out with this product but I have heard from friends with drier skin that it tended to dry it out even more, so just watch out.

Product tends to leave my face feeling quite refreshed and clean. Also, find that it helps to remove make-up, including some waterproof mascara. The opening in the top also makes it easy to decant into travel sized bottles, so there is no need to buy the smaller versions to take away on holiday.
