A couple of months ago I ordered myself a set of SBC gels from QVC. Of all the gels in the set one that I was most looking forward to trying was the collagen gel. SBC stands for simply beautiful cosmetics, and they are not really a very well known company - in fact they started as a salon brand and have not been available for sale to the general public for very long. I have only ever seen them on QVC, and the presenters made them sound good (as I suppose they would!) and I decided to give them a try. The collagen gel is a bright pink colour and comes in a clear bottle with a pump dispenser. The bottles looked quite cheap on the TV however once I ... Read the complete review

A while ago, when I had some spare cash (ha!) I was channel-hopping & caught a presentation on QVC which featured a selection of products from the SBC range. I'd recently read an article in one of the glossy mags about SBC & was under the impression that their range was only available through beauty salons. Not quite being able to finish reading the full article ( at the doctor's surgery) I was, nevertheless quite impressed by testers' opinions so decided to buy the TSV offered by QVC under their 30 day money back guarantee. The bottles arrived a few days later & I was quite impressed by both the size & the fuss-free packaging. Each ... Read the complete review

I must say I am really impressed with SBC’s (Simply Beautiful Cosmetics) gels. They are light-weight and are easily absorbed into the skin leaving the skin grease-free. This is especially perfect for the hot and sticky summer time when the last thing I want to do is put a creamy moisturiser on my face and make my face greasy and uncomfortable. The lines of gels by SBC are Vitamin E (this is the gel that I use as a moisturiser in the summer), Vitamin C, leg soothing gel, collagen gel, aloe vera soothing gel (this contains 99.7 % pure aloe vera), body firming gel, arnica gel (this is SBC’s best-seller and good for aches, pains and bruises). These gels are all ... Read the complete review

This is a product I actually saw being demonstrated on QVC, the shopping channel and it looked to be an incredible bargain so I thought I'd check it out...I am so so glad I did!! This gel can be used for all sorts of skin problems, particularly in the more mature lady as it contains collagen to help tighten and firm skin. It can be used on both face and body making it very economical. The collagen protein helps to condition and moisturise all skin types leaving it feeling soft and silky smooth. It helps to get rid of those unsightly bags under your eyes, including dark shadows, it can help to relax stretch marks from pregnancy or fast weight loss, it is ... Read the complete review

The SBC collection is great. The collegen gel is quickly absorbed leaving skin feeling fresh and tightened. I use the collegen on my neck. Its cheaper than these neck creams and works just as good. My favourite is the arnica gel. I bruise very easily but this helps. It brings out the bruise quicker and they disapear sooner. Recently after spending 4 hours painting a garden fence, my wrist was so painful that it hurt to pick up even the lightest of things. That evening I applied a thick layer of the gel on my wrist and within the hour it felt less painful. The following day there was no discomfort. Another good product is the leg soothing gel. On ...
