Advantages: Attractive packaging, 2 in 1 scrub & mask, leaves your skin cleaner, refreshed & well exfoliated

Disadvantages: A tad pricey (but not much is needed so it should last you a while)

This is the first Soap & Glory product I've bought, and decided to give it a go after having read some very positive reviews of it. I was a little sceptical at first at spending £7 on another scrub that promised to clean pores, as most I have tried haven't delivered on their promises. I can happily say that whilst this doesn't necessarily work miracles, it's good quality and does make a difference.

Scrub Your Nose In It is produced by Soap And Glory and is available in Boots. It's sold in a 125ml sturdy pink plastic tube with a flip lid on the bottom. The old-fashioned design is quite cool and original, setting it apart from other brands. I would also say the're lesser-known that other big name brands, but they're a strong contender in terms of effective beauty products.

Each tube will set you back around £7, which is more than I would usually pay for a face scrub. I thought that this may just be the same as the other creams I've bought, but at more than twice the price, where 'microbeads' and gritty particles in the cream are supposed to exfoliate the skin to remove impurities. In my experience, these haven't worked in giving me clean and clear skin.

But, like I said, I decided to try it for myself after reading positive reviews and I'm glad I did. The product is described as a 'multi-tasking scrub and mask marvel', and is therefore a 2 in 1 product. Already that seemed like an added bonus, especially as it states only a pea-sized amount is required, meaning the £7 tube should last you a while.

Scrub Your Nose In It claims to 'help refine large pores and prevent blemishes', and it's the t-zone over your nose that many people find clogged, dry or greasy. Tiny blackheads over the nose seem impossible to get rid of, but using this scrub regularly may just do the trick.

This is easy to apply as either a scrub or a mask. At first, squeezing the tube to find the cream is green is a little off-putting, but don't worry, it doesn't look bright green once applied to your skin! When using it as a scrub, you need only massage a pea-sized blob over your t-zone, making sure the area is slightly damp first. Use circular motions to massage over the region and be as thorough as you want. I tend to do this for quite a while, making sure to create a slight lather with the cream and really exfoliating as much as possible without rubbing my nose until it's bright red.

If using it as a mask, you simply just leave a thin layer of it on your nose (or whichever facial region) for 3 minutes, then rinse off. I usually massage it over for a while first, then leave it for a few minutes before washing off.

My skin can sometimes be somewhat sensitive, though I found this was fine on my face and cause any irritation. It's probably best to be a bit more careful for the first time you use it, making sure not to scrub too hard or leave it on for too long before washing off.

Once you've washed it off, it's a good idea to put a small amount of moisturiser on as they suggest on the tube as it can leave your skin slightly dry/tight. But this means that it's working as it's getting rid of the grease and impurities under your skin and refining your pores (or so I like to think!).

Their claims for this product being 'oil-absorbing', 'brightening' and 'pore cleansing' whilst refining pores and preventing blemishes are quite tempting. Don't expect a miracle, or that after one or two uses you're face will be clear and perfectly balanced, but with regular use I would definitely say it goes further than most products in meeting these goals.

My nose and t-zone area does feel refreshed after using this as the product leaves my skin feeling softer and less oily, without going the other way and being too dry. I have noticed a difference in the visibility of pores and with more use, I'm hoping the remaining little blackheads will vanish too.

Therefore, I would definitely recommend this product. It is a little pricey, but using the required amount means it should last you a while and it does seem to live up to its claims as I have already noticed a difference in my skin.

A fantastic cream that makes a brilliant scrub and mask, leaving your skin clean and radiant! Hurrah - an exfoliator that works!

Summary: A 'glorious' product that actually unclogs pores and leaves your skin fresh & beautiful :o)
