I'm getting a huge fruity bouquet with (sniff) hints of Menthol, Cinamon and Eucalyptus - a superb vintage!! No I haven't been nipping at the Scotch again (not that much at this time of day anyway!) I've simply discovered the best shaving product on the market. I managed to do this completely by accident but rather than keep it to myself I'm going to let you all in the secret of how to have a smoother, more kissable face (or legs if you are of the variety who I prefer to be kissed by!). My serendipity occured whilst wandering the aisles of my favourite cosmetics emporium looking for a resupply of my previous shaving product. When it ... Read the complete review

INTRODUCTION With an ever-growing cavalcade of shaving foams, gels and balms, it hardly seems possible that just two or three drops of oil could replace the need for lathering up every morning. But that's just what 'Somersets original shaving oil' claims to do, with each 0.4oz bottle containing enough magical liquid to deliver an incredible ninety shaves! A blend of plant oil extracts, including lavender, tea tree, menthol and rosemary, this all-natural shaving oil helps prevent excess irritation and dreaded razor burn. Simply rub a couple of drops of the alcohol-free oil into your beard and razor away... PACKAGING The oil ... Read the complete review

For many years I have been plagued with very sensitive skin. Every day, I went through the pain of razor burn and dryness caused by shaving. I have tried all the shaving gels, creams and potions available, but for some reason, I had never tried shaving oil. To be honest, I thought it was just another marketing gimmick, but now I know it's not. This stuff is good. The particular Somerset's product I'm talking about is Extra-sensitive version. It comes in a 12ml (0.4 fl.oz) bottle and costs around £2.60. Pricey you may think but no, this stuff is good value. I've been using it virtually every day for nearly two months now and I'm not even ... Read the complete review

This is a fine product. I was sceptical when I was told that oil could more effective than shaving foam. You know where you are with a scything lunge through a mass of foam, I thought. Not so now. After having used this and the king of shaves oil based products I will never use foam again. The finished result is very smooth and the opportunity to check for missed bits is a lot easier. Somerset’s smell is vaguely clinical and gives you the confidence that it is looking after you skin while you are dragging the steel over it. Having discovered shaving oil I am now working my way through the range available to see what is the ... Read the complete review

Recently I was walking around the chemist looking for yet another new razor to try, every razor I get, after a couple of shaves rip's me to shreads. But instead of a razor I spotted The Ultimate Experience shaving oil for men, so I got some to try. You only need 2-3 drops, rubbed between palms and apllied to your wet face then shave as normal, it is really smooth, and my razors don't cut me anymore, it leaves my face feeling really nice and cool. They also do it for women as well. ... Read the complete review
