Advantages: Close shave, can use with razor or electric shaver, great for travel, excellent price, lasts ages!

Disadvantages: Haven't come across any yet!

I tried some Somersets shaving oil on holiday from a friend (hadn't heard of it before) and was a bit sceptical that you could shave with only a few drops. I'd tried the King of Shave oil before and was very unimpressed so was even more surprised finding that not only does this give a fantastic shave with a razor, it also works brilliantly with my electric shaver. I had stopped using my electric shaver because the shave wasn't all that good but with Somerset's oil gives an amazing shave with no irritation! The best shave I have had. On top of that it is very handy for holidays being in a small bottle and lasts ages so very cost-effective.

I've since bought some other products from their website, www.somersets.com, and would definitely recommend the post-shave balm and moisturiser and the facial wash also semms very good. I notice they now sell in Waitrose and various other supermarkets so glad it seems to be catching on.

Summary: Best shave I've found with electric or normal razor, very cost effective
