Advantages: prevents spots, leaves skin feeling smooth and clean

I have been using this scrub for a few years now and I can definitely see the positive effect it has on my skin. I have never really had any major spot breakouts since using it and if I ever forget to take it with me if I'm going somewhere my skin doesn't feel as clean without it.

I use it in the shower on my face, back and feet. I smells nice- just like apricots and the exfoliator particles are large and quite coarse but not too abrasive. I have tried a few other exfoliators over the years (usually from bath sets from xmas!) and they don't seem to be effective as St Ives. This may be due to personal preferance as I don't like exfoliators that are mostly liquid with just a few little grains in them.

Another sign that this is a good product is that my boyfriend always steals it! He's not really into men's grooming but he always uses this as he thinks it prevents breakouts. I can see that it does make his skin look clearer.

There are a few different types of this product now e.g. sensitive, blemish control etc but to be honest I can't really tell the difference- they all seem to work for me/us. The price is very reasonable as one tube will last for ages and you can usually get two for one deals in both superdrug and tesco so it works out at about £3 each.

Summary: an essetial bathroom item!
