There is no end to the lotions and potions that suddenly appear in our bathroom for all skin ailments and imperfections. The one product that seems to be more used than most is the St Ives Gentle Apricot Scrub which sits in a white flip top tube with an orange wrap around picture of apricots. Normally I rarely run out of things to use in the shower, but as a replacement of my Thalgo Descomen Deep-Cleansing Scrub did not miraculously appear after I'd used it up I had to take the cheeky stance of stealing the product of choice used by the good lady wife. Marketed predominantly as a facial scrub, it promises to "cleanse deep into pores and remove dull, dead ... Read the complete review

St Ives Ultra Gentle Apricot Scrub...... This is actually one product type that I have been using for a long while as I think it is absolutely essential for anyone (male or female) to exfoliate on a weekly basis. I tend to get fairly dry skin therefore I use a lot of lotions & potions and after a while there is nothing better than to give the skin a good exfoliation and get to feel like a snake who has just shed their skin! In actual fact though I don't usually use the ultra gentle or sensitive version of this St Ives Apricot Scrub. My skin is slightly sensitive but I still find that the original version of this product does such a great ... Read the complete review

St Ives Apricot Scrub- Invigorating facial scrub to revitalise the skin. St Ives is a well known brand that does a variety of products including facial scrubs/ washes and body cream. When I saw this product St Ives Apricot Scrub on the shelf is was currently on offer in Adsa, if I remember correctly it was about £1.99, bearing in mind the normal price of this product is closer to £4.00 so as it was a bargain a decided to give it a go and I do not regret my decision this product is lovely. The face scrub comes in a 150ml plastic tube, with a flip lid that is located on the bottom on the tube in my opinion this is the best place to have the lid as it can stand ... I am a great believer in regular exfoliating and I have tried many products, often expensive products, this is, by far, the best exfoliator I have ever used. It costs around £4 for a 150ml tube and this might seem pricey, but there are often 2 for 1 offers on the scrub and you can quite often get it cheaper from supermarkets and places like superdrug and wilkos. The exfoliator itself lasts for ages and a small amount goes a long way, so taking this into consideration it is not expensive at all! The scrub comes in a large tube with a flip top lid which keeps it nice and water tight as it has a permanent home in my shower! The tube rests on its lid so ... Read the complete review

I have tried a wide range of facial cleansers and scrubs and even though I have not had this one for that long, I have rapidly grown to love it already. Before I was put of buying it, as I though it would be expensive from the brand name and its look, it just appears to me as though it would cost a lot because of a fancy name. However, it is on offer in some supermarkets at around £2.50 at the minute, when it normally costs around £4 for a 150ml bottle. For the quality of this facial wash, I would say it is well worth every penny you pay for it. It contains small micro crystals to exfoliate the skin, and after using it my skin always looks cleaner and feels ... Read the complete review
