... subtle and delicate, I think it smells very luxurious. It contains Orange, Wheatgerm oil, and olive. Being only £2.99 for a 50ml tube, it was a bargain, and I couldn’t wait to get home to try it! PACKAGING It comes in a white squeezy tube with silver writing. There is a pink sticker with the products name, and a really cute picture of four leaves arranged in the shape of a butterfly. Although the tube is quite plain, it also looks fairly stylish. USING IT This product should be applied to your face and neck b...more

Premium Review Superdrug Instant Radiance Balm: More than lives up to expectations (535 words)

"Superdrug Natural High Instant Radiance Balm is the perfect 'pick me up' to give your skin that special beauty boost", claims the back of the tube. And I couldn't agree more! This product is dermatologically tested, and is suitable for all skin types. I first heard of this product in a magazine article, probably about a year ago. According to the author, everyone in the magazines offices had become addicted to the stuff. She described it as a miracle cure for dull, tired skin, and praised it so highly that i just had to see for myself what all the fuss was about, so I went out and bought some. And I have to say, I can see why she ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Beauty in an instant! (467 words)

Clarins make a product called ‘Beauty flash balm’ which is a cream/balm that you apply to your skin and it supposedly gives your skin a lovely natural glow. I kept seeing it advertised in beauty magazines, and everyone seemed to be going on about how great it was, but unfortunately it was way, way out of my price range. Browsing in Superdrug one Saturday afternoon, I spotted a tube of Superdrug Instant Radiance Balm. I tried some on the back of my hand (as we girls do!), and was instantly impressed. Straight away I could see that my skin looked a lot brighter on the hand to which I had applied the balm. I loved the smell as well – very subtle and delicate, I ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Superdrug Instant Radiance Balm: Oooh, that silver paint is sooo you. (563 words)

This stuff is always touted in beauty pages as the inexpensive alternative to Clarins Beauty Flash Balm and so having tired looking skin but always being hard up, I thought I’d give it a go. It comes in a cheap and cheerful plastic tube, all pink and silver. Unfortunately the silver rubbed off the lid every time I opened it, would flake off onto my fingers and then be transferred onto my face as I applied the cream. Not surprisingly silver-grey specks dotted across my face did nothing to improve the appearance of my skin. Luckily this balm lasts for ages and I've been using it so long that all the paint has flaked off, so I no longer have to worry about looking ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review On a natural high. (285 words)

It has taken me a year and a half to discover this little wonder - but better late than never! When superdrug brought out their Natural High, Instant Radiance Balm, it was hailed as the poor girls' 'Clarins Beauty Flash Balm' (which is a celebrity favourite). At less than a quarter of the price, it was certainly worth a try. The pink and silver tube is shamelessly girly, but what the heck - I like it. The smell has been described as unusual as it contains some strange ingredients, including witch hazel. Personally I thought it was just like Turkish Delight - an aquired taste but one I certainly took to. It's probably ...  Read the complete review

This is a new product which I have just discovered and I'm impressed. Apparently it is just like Vichys Instant Beauty Flash but a lot cheaper! It is a lovely pink colour and retails for £3.95. You can put it on instead of a moisturiser and it provides a lifting and brightening effect. It helps to provide an even tone to the skin. I find it helps brighten up my skin when I'm hungover and it is very cooling too! The other good thing is you can also apply more and use it as an intensive moisture mask - put it on and leave for 15 mins then wash it off. The tube lasts for ages but be warned they sell out fast! ...  Read the complete review
