Advantages: Moisturising, Refreshing, Great Travel sized tube
Disadvantages: None!
"Superdrug Natural High Instant Radiance Balm is the perfect 'pick me up' to give your skin that special beauty boost", claims the back of the tube. And I couldn't agree more! This product is dermatologically tested, and is suitable for all skin types. I first heard of this product in a magazine article, probably about a year ago. According to the author, everyone in the magazines offices had become addicted to the stuff. She described it as a miracle cure for dull, tired skin, and praised it so highly that i just had to see for myself what all the fuss was about, so I went out and bought some. And I have to say, I can see why she praised it so highly! The balm comes in a dinky little 50ml tube, which makes it the perfect size for travelling. The tube is silver, with a translucent plastic lid, and is easily identifiable as it has the Natural High logo clearly on he front. The writing on the front of the tube is in a different colour for each different point that is being made, but the writing is quite small, and so might be quite difficult for some people to read. The small hole in the nozzle makes sure that you don't dispense too much, and allows you to easily direct the balm where you want it to go. This, in turn, makes the balm really easy to apply with the fingers. The balm has a strange sort of herby smell to it, probably due to the Linden Blossom, but although it is quite strange, it is still pleasant and not at all overpowering. The balm itself is the perfect consistency, making it easily absorbed into the skin. It is also a very light formula, and so doesn't feel greasy, clog pores or create a layer on your skin. I usually have to be really careful about which products I use as I have sensitive skin, but this didn't irritate my skin at all. The Linden Blossom and Vitamin E halp to restore and protect the skin, whilst Witch Hazel and Milk Protein help to provide a
lifting and brightening effect. I found that this product was particularly effective at brightening the skin, and it would make the perfect solution for any time that you can't properly cleanse your face, like when you're on a long flight for example. The balm also moisturises for up to 12 hours, giving your skin a really soft and smooth appearance, and a more uniform tone, and so acts as a great base for make up. For a more intensive treatment, the balm can be spread more thickly onto the skin and left for 15 minutes. This intensifies the already amazing results, and makes the perfect detox treatment for your skin. I really can't praise this highly enough! I would recommend that everyone tries this product, whether to use daily, or just to keep for when your skin really needs it. And at just £3.99 a tube, why not!?!

Faloula - 26/02/03 Yeah, I love this too. I use it every morning, and keep the more costly equivalent; Clarins Beauty Flash Balm; for special occasions.
It does brighten up the skin, but unfort. I'm running out and my local Superdrug doesn't seem to have it! |
