Advantages: great price, thick and luxurious to use
Disadvantages: none that I have spotted
After returning from Leeds festival my face was a mess, very dry and sore from standing outdoors come rain come sun. Also being completely skint I needed a quick and cheap solution. Calling Superdrug moisturiser with camomile!
Firstly this is an absolute steal! £1.50 for a tub of 150ml of cream is a great price! That's only a penny a ml and when you consider how much you might spend on other brands it's easy to see why people will choose this one.
Secondly, the cream itself is so rich a luxurious, your hardly aware that you are using an own brand! In these recession times everyones cutting back on their spending and the stigma of buying an own brand has gone, therefore this is an absolute must! the cream is thick and creamy without being greasy when applied to the face. You hardly need to apply any to the skin to leave it feeling moisturised, but I tend to apply a fair bit and rub it in to my neck as well, in an upward movement of course.
Superdrug are also againest animal testing and this product is suitable for both vegitarians and vegans, meaning no animal matter is used in the making of it. This is great if your a either as this type of product is hard to find, especially at such a lows price!
The scent of this moisturiser is lovely. As the title suggests it is of camomlie but I also find the scent quite creamy. This doesn't linger on the skin though, so your face doesn't feel heavy with fragrance.
The tub suggests it be used "as part of daily routine" I tend to use mine before bed after cleansing, but I have aslo used it before applying make up and I found it was great. It didn't make the make up slide off, like other thick moisturisers can do.
Overall a credit crunch busting, fab little moisturiser!
